I don’t think there’s any way it could be the same wand if the fairy godmother had possession of it until Rumple killed her.
And,honestly, three years before the curse makes sense for the events of Skin Deep, because so much happens in either that final year or those final years. I kind of want to do an analysis of Rumple’s behavior to look at how -he- changes post-Belle compared to pre-Belle in FTL which might offer some clues but I should be working on my master’s essay just now.
Ok, to the first point. I suppose there is a possibility that Rumple stole the wand from the fairy prior to The Price of Gold, Robin gave the wand back to the Fairy, and THEN Rumple killed her in front of Ella.
And I’m going to agree that Skin Deep had to at least 3 years before the Curse. Rumple keeps descending farther into madness until he’s the crazed imp we meet in the Pilot.
So if we were to try this again: all of Belle’s stuff happens at least three years before the Curse and while she is locked up in Regina’s castle, all the Snowing and Thomas/Ella stuff happens. And maybe Rumple stole the wand once, Robin stole it back for the Fairy, and then Rumple went after the Fairy for real.
You know all the wands that Gold had maybe they were all the fairy’s wands because the BF stated that she didn’t have hers after the curse was broken right ❓
So it could be the God Mother that was killed but I still would like to know how Robin knew about the Wand and why his Bow and Arrow was magic.
I have a theory to that end. Here’s I see it.
1) Rumple steals the wand from the Fairy Godmother years before he meets Ella.
2) The Fairy Godmother strikes a deal with Robin Hood. She will enchant his bow and arrow so that he can steal the wand back from Robin. Once he’s cured Marian, he must return the wand to the Fairy Godmother and then she will create a portal for Robin and Marian to go through to our world.
3) Rumple kills the Fairy Godmother in The Price of Gold about one year before the Curse, thus getting the wand back in his possession, where it has remained.
#2: Doesn’t the Fairy have to have her Wand to enchant the Bow? 😕

She could have fairy dust. We’re still not clear on the relationship between the two, but if she could enchant a bow with just the dust, that would solve that issue.

I wonder if it was the BF that told Robin Hood and gave him is Bow and Arrow she was the ring leader of the Faires right ❓
This is exatly my thought RumplesGirl

Lol- if only A&E could see this thread 😆
I cant contribute anymore tonight/this morning- just got back in from the NZ midnight screening of Ironman 3, it’s 3:20am here & I’m supposed to be checking emails lol (just wanted to see if any confusion had been cleared up or not…seems not I guess).
Still confusion, but a developing theory that answers a lot of questions?! At least it works on paper.
Adam and Eddy (or their hardworking interns): if you read this, we’ve all gone crazy. 😆 😯
Do you think they will release once in the future a little bit of the time line to help their craziest fan to not go complete nuts about it
