Those last two points about NL dying and the lady/belief really sounds like it make its way into OUAT someway. Sounds like some of the theories I see around here.
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 23, 2013 at 9:18 pm #201730runaroundmacyParticipantIt’s by no means an original theory, just a way to add some actual reference points to PP stories the are floating around that could be used somewhat in S3. My theory right now is super jumbled in my head, and I’ve been working on it but can’t quite get it to make sense to me, much less to anybody I would share it with. Especially now with Tink supposedly showing up in Ep3. Maybe in SB, maybe not? I usually try to work them out with my BF (boyfriend, not Blue Fairy), but he usually just looks at me and says “are you talking about that show AGAIN? you need a hobby”
My crack theory I’m toying around with lately is: what if Tink’s losing her memory? The lack of belief and her diminishing powers are slowly beginning to wear on her. And somehow she got stuck in SB (since magical creatures can apparently find it)? Which would lead to the HO coming after her there, AND the reason that PP has been searching for Henry? It sounds crazy, but if she IS dying, then why would she be a spy for the HO in SB? And if she isn’t then either NL isn’t connected to her powers or there’s something else motivating them both. (I’m still not sold on the shadow ripping being part of keeping PP immortal, I tend to think NL has it’s own magic and it’s self-sustainable to an extent, but I can see how that might work) But if she is in SB, and she and Blue know each other, I can’t see how BF wouldn’t have noticed her there since the Curse was broken.
See? Too many holes.

A and E keep saying that we need to believe which makes me think there is something of a clue in that sentiment. And it’s always said in reference to Tink.

To which you reply, “This show IS my hobby!” 😉 The number of times I’ll start responding to a post here and just start thinking of options and typing stuff out and by the end of the post I’ve talked myself into some new theory I hadn’t had when I started the post. 😆 Just typing it all out can help sort through the jumbled thoughts, and we do love a crackpot theory on here.

Something I’ve recently been pondering is how everyone in NL stays alive. If humans don’t age, then by rights, animals don’t grow either, and neither do plants, so what do those people eat to keep them alive? Which brings me to that self-sustaining world thing…which is how it seems SB stayed functioning too…which makes me think that the Curse must have its origins in NL, between the self sustaining and the people not aging even though time is passing being common factors for both NL and SB. Which makes me wonder if NL was created in the same way SB was, and if so, why, and by who?
Anyway, if we go with that similarity, and look at the situation of magic in SB during the cursed years, there was magic stored in certain items, but no new magic could be created, so once the stuff that was there was used up, it was gone. If NL operates in the same way, and we just substitute the word “magic” with “belief”, then NL isn’t able to replenish its belief stocks, the way SB wasn’t able to replenish its magic stocks. And that limited supply of belief is why they need a big dose of the stuff in the form of Henry. If he’s there being held captive, and PP is all, “Sucks to be you, you’re my prisoner and ain’t no one can save you,” and Henry is all, “I KNOW MY FAMILY WILL FIND ME!” by holding him captive, PP is causing him to tap into that belief in his heart until it swells to its absolute capacity, which is what PP needs, because NL needs as much pure belief as possible in order to keep going.
Ya see, this is one of those instances where I start rambling and end up with new ideas. 😉
July 23, 2013 at 11:57 pm #201771kfchimeraParticipantI still want my crack theory that Tinkerbell is Tinker Belle, because Rumpel needs someone to believe in his goodness, and that’s what she does–believe in him. And EdR so looks like the perfect pixie with her normal blonde hair.
Of course, that doesn’t fit in with my idea that there’s some history between Tink and PP that led to why PP needs Henry.
I do also like the idea though that NL is losing magic, because people aren’t believing, and that is why they need Henry. Though it sounded from Felix like they were going to kill the boy PP needed–but perhaps that’s just what Felix thought. As we see with GOAT, the minions run on a need to know, and apparently, they don’t need to know a thing!

It would be wild if Rumple finds out he’s in love with a half-fairy considering that he despises fairies. 😉 I’m not on the Belle is Tink’s daughter bandwagon, but it’s another one to add to the crack theories out there.

July 24, 2013 at 12:15 am #201776PheeParticipantI haven’t officially picked a side yet when it comes to Belle having a connection to Tinker Bell. Part of me thinks it’d be a cool little plot twist though.

Hearing about Belle’s mom would be good, but not sure I could handle that she is pure fairy as then Mo is an adopted father. I don’t want another bad adopted parent on the show. He’s not the most awful, he kind of was going out of a place of love, but then, even otherwise, having to picture Tink and even a young Mo…ewww!)
