I’m inclined to the believe that the title is referring to Henry. My mind went immediately to him when I read it. He’s the one who had faith in the fairy tales from day one. Not to mention, we know that the next part of the story is going to focus on Henry because he is the whole reason that everyone is on a ship to Neverland. We are going to find out why Peter Pan wants him, and we are going to see the gang on the ship fight to get him back

He’s been through so much already so I’m worried about him (though I’m sure they’ll rescue him eventually). I hate seeing the word “heart” thrown around though for sure (something big always happens in a heart-titled episode!).
I expect it to be more general for a premiere though and cover more than 1 character (especially since they’re in different worlds now so was invisioning more like season 2 with SB and present-day FTL) but perhaps it will be a line that explains what PP is after and the focus is somewhat on Henry simply because the majority of the main cast are focused on getting him back. Still, HENRY!

I sorta hope that PP isn’t into taking and crushing hearts as well as ripping shadows, but I wouldn’t really be surprised if he can. He needs to keep his mitts off Henry’s!

I wonder what Peter Pan could possibly want with the heart of the truest believer. Perhaps he needs it to break a possible curse that envelopes NL. Yet, in order for Peter to get this heart, it sounds like Henry’s life would be over.Hmmm, the first part of that might be possible. As far as Henry dying, I would not worry.
While I don’t think Henry will actually die, I do think his life will be in danger. The reason Felix spared Baelfire’s life is because he isn’t Henry, and so by implication, when Peter does eventually get ahold of Henry, his life will be in jeopardy. Judging by the title, Peter Pan could be after the heart of the truest believer (i.e. Henry’s heart) for some unknown reason. However, Rumple will somehow intervene and in the end save his grandson from a perilous fate. However, the cost might be Rumple’s dark magic.

I wonder what prevents PP from taking Henry’s heart right at the start. Logically speaking, from a TV point of view, we have to wait so that Rumple can save the day after they find Henry, but PP is going to need some sort of excuse as to why he can’t take it yet. Maybe it has to occur on a certain day or certain time. Or maybe it takes GOAT awhile to find PP.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 3, 2013 at 9:43 am #199259PheeParticipantMaybe PP lost his own heart and wants to use Henry’s as a replacement? They’ve already established how that doesn’t work so well in Whale’s story, so if PP wants to do the same…I’m sorta scared of how that might go.

Hmmm, I have a foreboding feeling that PP might be under a curse similar to Rumple. If so, then it would make sense that PP also has the ability to remove hearts. Also, the fact that Rumple himslef fears PP implies that this kid is bad news. I wouldn’t be surprised if PP can rip hearts and shadows.

That’s a possibility. However, if Peter Pan were lacking a heart of his own, does that mean he is somehow undead or just like Cora who kept her heart in a box?

July 3, 2013 at 9:45 am #199261RumplesGirlKeymasterI wonder what happens when you rip someone’s shadow vs when you rip out someone’s heart. When you rip out a heart they become your servant and will do your bidding. But we haven’t seen the boys who have had their shadows ripped off and what it does to them.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 3, 2013 at 9:49 am #199263PheeParticipantIf PP took out Henry’s heart, and put it into himself, if it worked, and PP remained himself, (unlike poor Daniel), that could actually be pretty compelling. Assuming Henry is still alive, (I know it’s been implied that he’ll have to die, but perhaps Felix just said that because PP wants the kid’s heart, and Felix assumes that will kill the kid), I assume he’d be enslaved to PP, who has his heart in his possession. They wouldn’t be able to straight up kill PP to rescue Henry, because if PP dies, so does Henry. So they’d have to figure out a way to get Henry’s heart back.
