KeymasterReading back through Slurpeez108’s comments: I’m not sure about Wendy just because, even if she was doing Greenscreen work, someone would have noticed/mentioned Freya being on set, right? We know that Tamara was on set but not word yet from Freya.

ParticipantHmmm. I’m inclined to go with Tink. However in the Disney Film ‘Peter Pan: Return to Neverland’ Wendy’s Daughter Jane was considered to be the first ‘lost girl’.

But the casting call for Tink is 303, so unless “Violet” is someone else (seems unlikely given the call)…

ParticipantLet’s remember that often times the title of the episode refers to more than one person, so “lost girl” could refer to Tamara and whatever her backstory is but it also obviously has to refer to Snow in FTL of the past
True.
I think HappyEndings is correct that Tamara was never in NL. A and E said at SDCC that GOAT do not know they are working for PP. I think she was born in our world to Marian. I’m starting to suspect, based on the TVLine spoiler about RH being in SB with Belle, that RH did not follow Marian through to our world 3 years before the Curse hit so that explains why he is in SB. Marian dies when Tamara is a young girl and her “grandmother” (FGM possibly?) tells Tamara that magic might have been able to save Marian but this world has no magic thus turning Tamara bitter against magic.
That actually makes sense.

ParticipantI still think that “The Lost Girl” could refer to Tamara, but not in the way one might expect. Rather than referring to a female equivlanet of a Lost Boy from NL, it could be that Tamara simply once was a little girl who got lost. Perhaps she is just a normal girl from A Land Without Magic whose parents lost her one day in a crowd. Perhaps Tamara is the daughter of Robin Hood and Maid Marian but they lost their daughter in some sort of separation so Tamara was lost to them (sorta how Rumple said he lost Baelfire).

ParticipantWe’ve also thought that RH might have met Snow, though we were thinking before the secret wedding ? I’m a lost girl myself here on the timeline.
Would that be too confusing? RH in past teaching Snow to shoot, then RH in present with Belle revealing another means of portal travel, something he knows about as his baby daughter and wife used it to try to escape the curse. Then a big reveal that his daughter is Tamara (maybe by a brief clip to her showing her wearing some family heirloom, like a little bow and arrow charm). That way RH would never know that his daughter almost killed him). They could have just a brief scene of her and most of the story is between Snow & Co in past, and Belle & RH in present. It also creates a tragic similarity with Greg, because just as Greg searched for his father only to find him dead, RH could be searching for Tamara, then in the clip back to Tamara is when we learn she’s his daughter–just as PP kills her or something.
I am putting this in the category of things I wish they would do not what I think they would do.

You mean the pic of Ginny and Josh’s backs when they were between scenes?
Or the pics of Ginny and Robert?
http://vancityfilming.com/once-upon-a-time-rumple-and-snow/I’m starting to suspect, based on the TVLine spoiler about RH being in SB with Belle, that RH did not follow Marian through to our world 3 years before the Curse hit so that explains why he is in SB.
I’ve always assumed that as part of the theory. Either pregnant Marian, or Marian with a newborn, or even just the newborn went though, but RH didn’t. Gotta have it parallel what happened with baby Emma. I’m inclined to think that in Tamara’s case she went through with her mother, just because that makes Emma’s story even more unfair.
Had a thought: any word on if the new RH was on set last week? If we’re right that Tamara is the daughter of RH and Marian, then if this is part of her backstory, I’d expect to see him at least.
He tweeted about an hour ago about being in Vancouver. He also tweeted Adam on the 25th that he hoped they’d get to meet up “this week” and we now know that K&H were both in Vancouver for the shooting of 302.
There were reports of Meta Golding arriving at the airport with the rest of the cast when they flew back from CC.
A few of us wondered if she may be a re-cast Marian. I also wondered if she could maybe be a younger version of Tamara’s grandmother.Given that Adam has referred to 302 as being a Snowing ep, I’d say that Snow and Charming will be the primary focus. But in CC interviews, K&H made sure to point out that we’d be seeing GOAT deal with having their fundamentalist beliefs shattered, so “Lost Girl” could very well refer to us seeing Tamara in NL in present day.
I’d been hoping they’d avoid showing us 3 different locations/times in 1 ep, so if this ep will focus on Tamara to some extent, I hope it’s not her only ep where she dies, because I’d still love to see flashbacks that show her involvement with THO before we saw her in Phuket.
So, all things considered, I’m going with this ep being Snowing centric FTL flashbacks that will involve them meeting up with Snow’s old buddy RH, (we all figure he’s the one who taught her how to hunt), who will recount the story of how he lost Marian when she and their baby had to be sent to another world. Keeps Snowing heavily involved with the storyline of their centric ep, though the ep title refers primarily to Tamara, and how her father lost her as a baby, and how lost she’s feeling in NL in present day.
Or, ya know, they’ll show some real world Tamara flashbacks that have nothing to do with RH and then they’ll kill her off. But I reckon her struggle of coming to terms with her life’s mission being a lie would require more than 1 ep, and would require a Tamara centric ep instead of a Snowing one, so I hope she’s not killed off this early.

This sounds very possible, and then we have Tamara telling Henry about how she grew up without her mother, ect ect, without having to actually show us Tamara’s backstory.

I agree.
Another point, supporting ep 2. being a Tamara centric, Vasquez also wrote ‘Selfless, Brave & True’ which also showed her backstory last season. which has also been since then deleted from my DVR.

Which is why I’m a little worried about this episode. I think she also co-wrote “Tiny” which wasn’t my favorite episode either. S,B and T is my least favorite OUAT episode thus far but Chambliss has co-written some goodies (with his former writing partner) so hopefully this will be ok.
