This for sure has to be Cora’s backstory.

I posted this in the 2×8 thread, but I think it belongs here instead. Once Upon a Fan UK reported:

Looks like we are heading back to Wonderland this season. Paul McGillion, who played the Queen of Heart’s official speaker, tweeted that he was excited to be back on set again.

    Now about those Cora theories!

notice there was never a casting call for QoH so either it is going to be the same actress who played her last time or Cora..my bet is Cora!!

I’m also going to bet it’s Cora…too many clues lead to her… Can’t wait for some more Wonderland time! Perhaps a bit more Jefferson time too! 😀

No idea. Though if she’s only doing green screen work, which she would be if it’s her story from Wonderland, there won’t be leaked photos of her on set that people snap around town. If she IS QoH and they don’t wanna let the secret out early, they’ll make sure there’s no mention anywhere of her having been filming for this ep.

Yes, I think last time they just hid her face so it would be a surprise, and maybe because they couldn’t get Barbara Hershey to come film because of her schedule. It’s most likely they just wanted to keep it a surprise that Cora ended up becoming the Queen of Hearts.

I wonder how Michael Raymond-James fits into the episode then. (Oh no, now they’re making me wonder if he really is the White Rabbit.) Maybe he’s not in it as much as I thought he was going to be, and we see him either entering Storybrooke or leaving NYC to go to Storybrooke.

If Bae arrives around the same time Cora and Hook get there, if Emma and company didn’t stow away on Hook’s ship, I could see that working out for him because everyone would be so focused on Cora and Hook that they probably wouldn’t notice him for awhile as long as he acted normal well normal by Storybrooke standards.

Probably at the very end and nothing to do with the episode. Maybe.
