Today on Twitter Horowitz tweeted the episode title.
It’s “The Cricket Game”.
Now I’m wonder if it refers to Archie or the Queen of Hearts.

QoH’s fave game was croquet, which is different to cricket. Cricket has two teams, one batting, one bowling, and the batting team scores runs running up and down the pitch while the fielders try to get them out by hitting the wickets (3 little wooden posts standing at each end of the pitch) with the ball before the batter gets back. How that’d work into the storyline, if at all, who knows.
Is this the ep with the pics of Hook with Rumple and Belle? If so, perhaps it could relate to Hook vs Rumple in some way, given they’re both Brits, and cricket originated there. It’s known as “the gentleman’s game”, and while neither are stereotypically gentlemanly, (God love ’em), perhaps their feud will be kept polite and low key to begin with? Maybe Hook will want it that way to he can try and charm his way into Belle’s good graces?
And Archie will get stuck in the middle somehow, coz they just can’t have an ep with the word cricket in the title without the cricket being involved.
Ah! Maybe This ties in with that tweet ‘Archie’ send out that he had big explosive things coming at him.
wellllll, I’m getting more and more excited for that! But somehow it feels like the writers are sort of playing with the pun here – yes, it’s cricket, so something to do with Archie but, I’m sure everyone will also think of Wonderland and game of croquet.
Which on the other hand links nicely with the Lana Parrilla tweet about her finishing “filming 2HUGE eps bck to bck! Episodes 9&10!” so could it really be that Evil Queen is Alice???@EvilQueen wrote:

I see the word “Cricket” in the title of a OUAT episode, my head is going to go right for Jiminy Cricket. Wonderland doesn’t event compute. Even more, Archie is supposed to be a psychiatrist, they are often known to, let’s say, paraphrase this in their sessions “Ok, let’s play a game” usually meant to stimulate memories and feelings. I think Jiminy Cricket is going to use his talents as Archie to extract information from somebody.
Just my 2 cents.
I also thought of croquet and wonderland. But I dont know much about the difference between cricket and croquet, so who knows!

They’re COMPLETELY different games. To compare them to better known sports, I guess croquet could be likened to golf and cricket could be likened to baseball.
hey, you never know, maybe to adjust to the needs of SB reality, it will be cricket in Wonderland! 😆 (or not… I just like to think that the title hides more than we see)
