YAY August! 😀 Honestly, I can live with it if he dies, as long as there’s a purpose for it. He’s been one of my fave characters, so I’m just excited that it looks like they’re gonna show more of his story, even if wrapping it up sees him killed off. We NEED some elaboration on and a conclusion to his role in all of this!

Yeah, that’s one thing that’s kept me from getting on board with the theory that August brought Henry to SB, because I can’t see him having gone back to the US after escaping to Phuket, and then going back to Phuket again. But as you say, there’s still that line from Regina. And now it seems that the ep directly before this one will potentially show Regina adopting Henry, so I’m starting to wonder about the possibility again.
So this Asian Healer may just be someone who August knew in Phuket, as opposed to someone Mulan knows in FTL? Or perhaps we’ll get both?

Based on a recent spoiler, I’d guess the healer and August may have no interaction at all. Rather, we might see the Blue Fairy turn August back into a real man and simultaneously see the healer return Philip’s soul to his body in a parallel plot that takes place in present-day FTL with Mulan and Aurora along for the ride.
This is the most likely scenario imo…I think that August being turned back into a real man may also have to do with making some amends.
The truth part may mean he has to come clean about some of the things he has done and said so I’m wondering if we won’t get the full “what happened with Neal and the box” story until this episode. Was hoping to have that in Manhattan but it wouldn’t be the first time things have gone forward without all the clues being put into place. Emma still hasn’t connected the fact that the letter she got in prison was from Phuket…the same place August admitted he spent most of his time at.
Not sure about him having to die…seems to me if they are dealing with a healer in FTL backstory and they are successful with reuniting Phillip with his soul that they would be successful making August real again and each would go to live out their own lives…but then again they may indeed intend to put the Pinnocchio story to rest…as little as we’ve seen August this season I guess that could be the case.

Would this mean August is in Phuket rather than Storybrook?
I wonder if August has been hiding out with the Blue Fairy this whole time. We saw his eyes blink so either 1) he turned “real” again has either left SB or is hiding for some unknown reason or 2) he’s still a wooden man and someone (The Blue Fairy) took him and is hiding him, maybe waiting until she has Fairy Dust to turn him back.

A friend of mine suggested that he was hiding out at the convent. I like the idea of him going back to Phuket but can’t see how a wooden man would travel without being noticed. Hat, trench coat, sun glasses and gloves. That would be funny. 😆

HAHAHA! Agreed, that would be quite funny. Plus, why would he leave now? If he had the choice, wouldn’t he want to stay and right his wrongs? He knows he messed up in leaving Emma (twice) and his punishment was turning back into wood. Plus, now that everyone in SB is awake, wouldn’t he want to see Marco?

He wouldn’t exactly match his passport photo. 😆 I like the idea of him having hid out at the convent. He went to Blue for help before confronting Mr Gold, so it stands to reason that he’d go to her again now. I’m thinking if we see this Healer in Phuket, it’ll be a flashback.

I’m kind of wondering what all these “pleasures” were that kept drawing him back to Phuket in the first place. He talked about it being beautiful and an amazing place where one could lose oneself. I just wonder if he was referring to the island itself or if their might have been some specific things there that drew him. Someone else (can’t remember who) suggested he might have had a girlfriend there.
So I don’t know if anyone has posted this yet but the new TNT pilot that Eion was supposed to be starring in is now not going forward as of Jan. 15 so there is definetely a possibility of August coming back and he does not have to die since they could do more with his storyline since his schedule isn’t as full now..
