You could be right. It seems more and more likely that the mysterious stranger (aka August W. Booth) is Pinocchio (unless the episode title The Stranger is meant to be a red herring). The idea that August always tells the truth, but then went on to mislead Red about there being lemurs in Nepal, agrees with the Pinocchio story line. Although Pinocchio was always supposed to tell the truth, he actually often lied, which is why his nose grew long.
Hmmm…I’m not sure how I feel about the Stranger being Pinocchio. I think it would make more sense if the Stranger was a new character like Emma.
[adrotate group="5"]Like you, I don’t want August to be Pinocchio, and would like him to be a new character. I’m just wondering based on what has been pointed out previously. One thing that is a strike against August being Pinocchio is, as pointed out on the podcast, Pinocchio is a red-headed little boy in FTL, whereas August is a brunette (unless August’s natural hair color darkened with age or he died it so as not to be recognizable):

I know the red hair is the biggest thing against him being Pinocchio. It is probably just a red herring, because it seems like they have more of those then actual clues to who the characters are.

Wow! Thats a lot to take in for the last couple episodes! Its going to be packed full of drama! i can’t wait! So glad we are going to find out about Rumples son and Katherine.

Now that I’ve had some time to think about what could be, I think it’s about the origin of Storybrooke. Meaning, we get to see how Storybrooke “became” Storybrooke. Or maybe the moment when all the Ft characters arrived there and what their ‘first’ day’ in Storybrooke was like.
Hmm, I wonder after watching tonight’s episode if this title relates to when Emma said “You’re screwed.” to August aka Pinocchio when he told her ” You’re our only hope.” August couldn’t make Emma believe, Emma took off with Henry. Maybe the curse will get stronger again now that Emma is gone and memories will dull again. That or we will see Emma and Henry living outside of StoryBrooke somewhere in Boston.
They aren’t going to get out of town before the end of the season. I just don’t think that is going to happen.
