Isn’t this a surprise another Lost actor on Once, boy if you weren’t on Lost it looks like you have a tough time getting on Once.
I don’t see what the big deal is. So he was on LOST? They’ve worked with him before, he’s a good actor and he is the spitting image of Richard Schiff. They like working with people they know–Gorham was from a non-LOST show that they did. It’s not like they are pulling actors that are bad just to have them. All of them are good actors/actresses.

He keeps close ties with actors he’s worked with and they keep working with him. If you saw Much Ado About Nothing, all of those actors have worked previously with Joss Whedon at some point in their career.

Eric Lange—known to the Lost fandom as season five’s Stuart Radzinsky—will be joining the magical cast as the young Prince Leopold. OUAT fans know that we have already met King Leopold, Snow White’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) gentle and kind-ruling father, in season one, but it’s time for another fairytale flashback!
Earlier this week, we revealed that the magical drama was on the hunt for the right man to fill this young father-figure role, and now we offcially have our man. Lange will make his fairytale debut in an Enchanted Forest flashback in episode 18 entitled, “Bleeding Through.”
Upon first meeting Prince Leopold, fans will learn that this bachelor is eager and hopeful about finding a woman whom he can love and trust to help rule his soon-to-be-inherited kingdom. And rather than settling for an arranged marriage, Leo wants up uphold his family’s nobility and find a bride that he can truly connect with.
Unlike many other Kings, Prince Leopold is both grounded and humble—which explains a lot when you look at the amazingly kind daughter he eventually raised.
To make matters even more exciting, Lange’s fellow Lost co-star Rebecca Mader, will also be appearing on new episodes of the spellbinding drama as one of the most iconic villains of all time.
As we exclusively revealed, Mader will be playing The Wicked Witch of the West and will square off against Regina, forming a new, formidable opponent to the Evil Queen.
When we last saw our favorite enchanted characters, Regina (Lana Parilla), was forced to transport all of the original characters back to Fairytale land in order to save everyone from Pan’s (Robbie Kay) deadly Storybrooke curse. The formerly wicked queen then created new, false memories for Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) so that they could finally have their happily ever after in this world.
This jaw-dropping mid-season finale was a complete game-changer for the series as fans are going to get a deeper peek into the fantasy realm than ever before.

Like we’ve been speculating, Leo married for love, not the standard arranged royalty marriage.

And I’m still going to go with the WWW being Eva’s sister and resenting Cora/Regina for screwing up Snow’s life.

If that was the case why did she wait so long to avenge Eva’s death etc.
I think the witch is tied to Henry SR or could be Henry SR mom too. She is mad because Regina killed Henry her son or brother.

I doubt they’re bringing him back just to tell us he married for love. There’s got to be some shady deals of some sort in this story. I smell a Stiltzkin deal in the works.
February 5, 2014 at 2:38 pm #243077GrimmsisterParticipantPrince Leo married for love- He fell in love with Eva, despite her already having been with a man (Prince Henry) and had a child (Regina) with that man.
Therebye saving princess Eva from the disgrace that probably would have followed her, in that most likely very Victorian age-like period, with very strict moral codes. If he hadnt loved her- He wouldnt have married her at that point.

The inshow answer will be complicated (but we know all the lands were frozen for 28 years so there’s part of it) but it’s worth noting: there is a difference between in show time and out of show time. In show time will have something to do with magic. Out of show time is really easy. Why wait until S3B to bring her in an seek revenge on Regina? Because they didn’t have this plotted out until the end of S2/middle of S3A. Wicked “waited” so long because she wasn’t an idea in A and E’s head until after S1 and S2.

I see a deal but I don’t see Rumple being a star in this little deal. He may have given Cora some help, but I see this storyline really revolving around Cora/Eva/Wicked.

I think this is very unlikely just because it’s wholly complicated and they aren’t going to retcon Cora being Regina’s mother. It basically takes away *everything* they set up in S1 and 2. This is also why I have an issue with WickedSisters…it takes away from the Cora/Regina relationship.

how doo you know they didnt have that particular idea plotted out earlier? have they said somewhere, or doo you assume?

The only thing I wish they would have done (assuming its true Cora is not Reginas bio-mother)- was not too have killed her, so that they could have shown how the two of them would have dealt with this knowledge, thats when something “could have” been taken away from the relationship, but only if Regina and Cora would have let it been taken away. What doo you see as being taken away?
I dont get why everyone is so opposed too this idea? I think it would be absolutely brilliant!! it ties so many things together.
You said it takes away everything they build up in S1 and 2. But no! It answers a lot of the things they set up in previous seasons- Why was baby Regina a redhead? Why did Young Regina and child Snow look and act so similar? Why did Rumple talk of Regina as being portable? etc… And then to mention what they are setting up now, with Wicked. Why does Wicked hate Regina? Why does she look like Cora? Why did she take over Reginas Castle and clothes? etc. etc…
