Like really, how many times they said this already and the villains always ended defeated without many effort, episodes before the season ends, in fact that was what they said about Emma in S5A , she was the most powerfull villain they even encounted bc she was Do and savior and look where that ended. So let me guess Hades, will have mom or dad issues, or some kid that doesnt care about him, or some love interest that doesnt love him, that will be solve by mid arc 5b in some maybe 2 centrics. So i guess one of the tags for 5B is #hadesneverfails. And yeah, the connection is most likely with Rumple, since he was the one that was DO for most time, knowns everyone in villain world, already died before and makes deals with everyone, most likely he made some deal with Hades in the past.

Well according to mythology, his dad ate him and his siblings when they were newborns. And then when he was set free, he was tricked into being the god of death by his younger brother Zeus. So…yeah. Hades has both daddy issues and brother issues. Wonder if he’s related to Poseidon in Once canon.

He’s got a wife, Persephone, who I don’t believe is too fond of him since, ya know, he tricked her into being his bride. So there’s that.
But yeah, basically I think you’re in that ballpark. Hades is going to get a centric episode and it will be some boohoo sob story.

I’m placing bets on the connection being to Rumple…..if not Rumple, then I’m willing to also bet Cora is his new beau, or if they really wanna go there, her new hubby. We all know Cora wouldn’t dare pass up the opportunity of having a God as her lover/boyfriend/or husband.

Nah, 516 is clearly Zelena/Dorothy centric, according to that recent casting announcement. I think Natalie was getting basic scoop about 5B, likely during the same time she did the Hot Seat that has yet to be posted, and Hades came up.

No you’re right. I totally forgot about the Dorothy stuff (maybe wishful thinking). Still, we should be getting a Hades centric soonish
