    With Emma prophesied to die at the hands of Gideon, has Once Upon a Time found a loophole that will save the Savior?

    In the winter finale, it was revealed that the sword Gideon (Giles Matthey) will eventually use to kill Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in the future can actually harm the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) without hurting Regina (also Lana Parrilla). Is this a clue that will ultimately spare Emma?

    A running theory speculates that, sometime in the future, Emma has separated from her other half. So, could viewers actually be seeing a doppelgänger of Emma being killed by Gideon in the prophecy? “No,” executive producer Adam Horowitz tells EW. Alas, there goes that theory.

    I think most of us gave up the ghost on that theory but now the question becomes how does Emma get out of dying at Gideon’s hands? I very much doubt that A and E would actually forever and ever kill Emma (especially since s7 seems more and more likely).

    Even if S6 is the end I don’t see Emma being killed off. This is not that type of show. She out of all the characters has earned a happy ending. I don’t think the writers will kill her off. I think Rumple, Zelena, or Regina has more of a chance of dying.

    If this is the last season the show is probably gonna end w/ a CS wedding. If not it’ll be saved for next season.

    The solution is simple, turn Gideon back into a baby.

    That would make sense, but I’m assuming they’ll “explain” that possibility away by saying Gideon is too powerful to be affected by that type of magic.

    Or, the characters won’t think of the baby solution until the season end/finale when it’s time for Gideon to be defeated. They’ll also realize Regina needs to reintegrate the Evil Queen in the same episode and it will be titled, “Why Didn’t We Think of That Before?” or simply, “Duh.” Or maybe one of those can be 6B’s tagline. Lol.

    I think it’d be weird to turn him back into a baby, but I think its possible. Although its sounds too easy, so yeah id guess he has some kind of magical protection against something like that.

    I also don’t think Gideon is going to stay as an adult forever if he lives…. I’m confused about where they are going with this and how they’ll handle it but interesting theory stated.

    Or “we could have ended this horrible plot 12 episodes before but needed time to waste on Regina moreso then we already do meanwhile what’s an Emma flashback? Here’s 20 more Regina ones.”

    Is it possible the vision simply wont come true at all? Didn’t Rumpelstiltskin say that seeing the future is not exact or something?

    Agreed, way to easy. I mean, how do you justify not using that method on every villain from then on out?

    how do you justify not using that method on every villain from then on out?

    First, every other vilain is not a baby, that is one of the main ones kid, their justification is that, Belle and rumple, need a chnace to raise their child since baby, none of the other villains needed to be raised by anyone else, LOL;

    Second, this is OUAt, they always go the easy way;

    Third, Is not like they will kill another Rumple son.

    Fourth, they cant add another regular cast member to a already “over populated” regular cast, especially if next season is last, they will need to go low budget, and we all know that a RB kid would have a ticket to be a regular next season, if Zelena was made regular and had no importance to the story besides being Regina sister, obvious Gideon actor would have to, unless they really kill some regulars this year, to insert the other one as replacement, but like i said before, the order for a last season would be with a low budget, not take one cast member to add another one, in fact at this point i say send zelena away to EF to raise her daughter or kill Zelena, there goes one regular you dont need anymore and also take jared from regular to downgrade him to recurring, they dont need to use him in every episode, they can say he is at school or baby sitting his uncles( neal and Gideon, if he goes back to be a baby).

    So yeah, most likely gideon will be de aged and they will call themselves smart, by saying they mentioned that on 214, when Rumple said he would do it to Bae/Neal, but he said no, in this case i bet they will say Gideon will want a new chance to grow up with his parents, or even before Aladdin goes away, that is belle wish, to raise her kid.

    By the way Happy New Year to everyone.

    They also mentioned it in 204 The Crocodile, Rumple told uSmeed he could  turn back the hands of time and make him a child again.
