EW turned to executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis to get the scoop.

[adrotate group="5"]December 4, 2016 at 10:23 pm #331207RumplesGirlKeymasterAny land where the Black Fairy, the Dark Fairy, the darkest soul we’ve been teasing for six years, runs can’t be fun.
Okay, lol, first. Darkest soul? Really? Because literally every single time you guys come up with a new villain you apply the same superlative. Second, six years…lol. No.
That’s the glimmer of hope that has not died out and is kind of the root of that relationship.
This doesn’t change what he did to her, what she did to him and the total horribleness that is this relationship.
HOROWITZ: It’s the wish realm. It’s the realm that was created by the wish, so it’s an actual place that exists now. The wish has created it, so it’s not an alternate realm in the sense that it’s just imaginary and not real; this place actually now exists and is real.
There you go. It’s not a dream world. So….yeah, okay. I don’t get it. Cause it still doesn’t make sense but alright.

I was thinking maybe when he said “six years”, he was implying that the Black Fairy was the fairy that Snow got the magic dust from in “Snow Falls”.
December 4, 2016 at 11:30 pm #331216Sci-Fi GirlParticipantMight some of these other characters also be aged up like Snow and Charming?
HOROWITZ: There’s different changes for different characters for different reasons, and that’s the beauty of the wish realm — there’s a logic to a wish that isn’t necessarily the same as the real world, but it’s consistent within its own wish logic rules, and it’s allowed us to have a lot of fun with these characters, and play off what we’ve done for the last six seasons or so, and do new spins on them. That is the most nonsensical sentence ever, and also the most convoluted way of saying: we can do whatever the heck we want.
*facepalm*

Great minds think alike. I have just written this on my reaction to the episode. I propose that we call it WWW or wishy-washy-world!

Or maybe because we’ve been seeing Blue aka,”the Original Power” since the Pilot and Blue is Black? Or they forgot the “Original Power” detail and misspoke in the article – I know the latter is more likely.

I had forgotten all about that, and it makes so much sense! There could definetly be a story there between the Dark Fairy and Snow White….

Also, when was the Black/Dark Fairy ever referred to as “the darkest soul” in show?
December 5, 2016 at 5:07 am #331245RainbowParticipantCan`t remember but did they talked about Black fairy in S1 and S2, was so long ago, or did they mentioned her only in S3?
Another thing, do you remember that on end of S3a, after Shadow goes to Blue, when she recovers, instead of giving the black fairy wand to Charming or Tink that were there with Hook and Neal, she gave it to Neal of all people, that then gave it to Rumple, why did she gave it to neal of the 4 people there?
Blue had long association with Charming, she only meet Bae once, centuries ago, now knowing what was the Black fairy connection to Neal/Bae, we can almost say they planned that, which i don`t believe, but still sort connects now."I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".
