Another original cast member has booked a return trip to Once Upon a Time before the show’s series finale.
Jared Gilmore, who briefly appeared in the rebooted seventh season’s premiere, is slated to return in episode 20 as young Henry Mills, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told press following a screening of Friday’s midseason return.
“We’re very excited to have Jared back,” Horowitz says. “He is, in a lot of ways, the heart and soul of this show. He grew up literally on the show, so it’s really wonderful to see him back.”

We have not thought anything. Not everything gets announced sometimes, and sometimes things are kept secret or sometimes told by a lie. Remember, Dave Filoni, the created of Clone Wars and Rebels said that Darth Sidious will not appear in s4 of Rebels, but he did after revedes in the Promo. Dave lied about it.
I don’t know what you are talking about, but most people realize that Jennifer Morrison said she wasn’t coming back and she meant it, even if the five Hook fans still think there is a chance she is coming back. Emma is my favorite character. I would love to see her again, but the actor doesn’t want to be on the show. That is the only information we actually have right now. That and the writers saying her coming back is not confirmed. That makes it sound like a big no too.
Things being possible, don’t make them at all likely, and it really feels like a lie when people say things are possible, when the actual individual, the actor, aka Jennifer Morrison, has said no way, she is doing one last episode and that is it and she did her last episode, so that was it.
Also, these writers announce everything about casting. If they get Jennifer to come back, then they will announce it. You made it sound like you were saying other people such as Gosh or other original actors won’t come back. That’s what. The fact so far is that Jen was the only one right now, who said she is not coming back after 7×02. And for the record, I never said anything about Jen coming back. And if that is who you were really talking about, you should have been more specific on saying only her.

We don’t know for sure though, but it seems pretty unlikely. There is only three characters we are talking about Jennifer, Ginny and Josh. Why in the world would they bring back Snow and Charming if they couldn’t have Emma? They only have the finale episodes to do it, so even if they do it, it will be for a meaningless cameo.
With Henry this is most likely adult Henry, who is still a character, regaining his memories while we see some flashbacks of younger Henry. That actually makes sense as a good use for a character who is still on the show, but has just been recast.
The only way I can see–right now–the show getting Snowing back but also having to deal with the Emma problem is if Henry goes back to SB to introduce his family to the SB family and we see the yellow bug pull up but never seen anyone get out (or a backshot of a blonde head but never see Emma’s/JMo’s face). Because @hjbau has a point: having Adult!Henry interact with everyone BUT Emma back in SB or in present day HH would be…weird. Just like it’s been an elephant in the room that no one from HH who has their memories has tried to get in contact with SB–there’s just some vague reference to how they can’t but no explanation as to why Regina couldn’t just call up Emma/Snow/Charming and say “um, we got a problem here.”

I think it makes a lot more sense to just pretend they don’t exist then to give even the hope of seeing them and not showing them. They are showing flashbacks of Storybrooke with Zelena and Robyn and fake Hook and later with Regina and young Henry. That is bad enough. They are showing Storybrooke, but not showing the characters you really want to see. I just can’t imagine the point of showing present day Storybrooke with an adult Henry and not showing him interact with Emma.
If they end with them driving into town then fine, disappointing, but at least more reasonable then even giving the hope of actually seeing Emma, Snow, and Charming again. I see no point in a cameo at this point with only the finales to film.

You should be specific, otherwise you would lead people to the wrong direction. Which by the way, you already have on me. I know I would be more specific and more detailed. And for the record, the show was only terrible to you. Only to you.
