Ah the bitterness, still so bitter. Sorry but Hook makes a heck of a lot more sense as Emma’s deputy than Neal.

A deputy? Sure. A romantic partner? Not really. Neal defintely makes more sense when considering all the parallels between them. But those are opinions. Let’s not start this again guys.

But no new family member does verify that the little girl is not Henry’s daughter, right?

Appears so. Not Henry’s and not CS’s.

A lot of can’t says.  Which since this season is winding down, possible the series, it is intriguing bc at this point, they would say no.  Which is pretty much what they said with the Maleficent question.  Anyone else intrigued that we are going to see Black and Blue’s relationship history and also why Black Fairy didn’t cast the dark curse herself.  I have EXTREMELY HIGH expectations for the episode The Black Fairy.

Also, any ideas as to what The Black Fairy wants to do exactly?  Is it just to kill Emma?  Is it to try and cast the original dark curse again?  She wanted to kill Emma to open a portal to get to Storybrooke.  But now that she’s here, what does she want?  This is like the first time since the Zelena arc that I had no idea what the villain wanted to do.

I am glad this at least means there will probably not be a Henry baby or an Emma and Hook baby or a Regina baby. I didn’t want to see any of that. Unless the writers forgot or are lying.

I am not talking about being deputy. I don’t think it makes any sense for Emma to have her deputy be her romantic partner regardless of who it is. Also, you may call it bitterness because it makes it easy for you to say that, but it is just logic. It is writing good story, cohesion of story, connecting the beginning to the end. Emma arriving in town with her bug, driving around in her bug, talking about Henry’s father, talking about her time in jail, her loss from her childhood, was all of Season 1. Emma and Neal stole the same bug. That is where they met, in the bug. The swan necklace was first a key chain. The swan necklace is their article of true love. Neal is part of the family. Connects Rumpel to Henry and to Emma. His character and story would logically connect the beginning of the story to the end. Emma and Neal reunited, driving off in the bug makes complete narrative sense.

Hook does not and never will. That is what Adam means here because the ending isn’t really the same because Emma’s romantic partner is different then they originally intended.

    Agreed…. it’s literally where they met….

Is season 6 going to end the way you originally planned to end the series?

    KITSIS: Yes.

    HOROWITZ: Well, sort of.

KITSIS: Season 6 is ending the way that we always planned for it to end.

So yes, but sort of, but yes?

To me, this answer sounds really slimy. Eddy pretty much lied through his teeth the first time, while Adam waffled, and then Eddy came back the way a politician would with an edited reply. Yes, season 6 is going to finish the way season 6 was planned (at the end of season 5), but the show won’t end the way it was planned at the start.

I still think their original planned ending for the show was Going Home and they had to make it sooner because of KillEmma. It just seems like seasons 1-3A had different attitude from the writers than the rest of the series.

I agree. re-watching the show the tone and character development start to shift in 3b and imo it all falls apart somewhere in 4b with the egg and the ‘Queens of Darkness’.

I do believe that Adam and Eddy had an ending planned out from early on, but I also believe that when they originally thought of the big series finale that Baelfire was going to be a big part of it and that Gideon is basically just a replacement character. It’s possible that the original ending was supposed to be Rumple killing Pan (or now Black Fairy?) and himself to save everyone. I just hope they don’t repeat themselves and we get something new and better for the (probable) series finale.
