I did and unless I missed something, this was not answered. I shouldn’t be surprised with A&E though.
I’m pretty sure it was explained when that thing came out of the water. That was clearly a lost soul and I guess this explains what happens to them when they hit the water and what they become.

they told us to watch and see. And that’s there answer when it was revealed. There is no hope for the lost souls.
What do they mean by saying “Only if he’s alive”? Of course Hook’s alive. Unless they are hinting something bad and sad for the two part finale near the end. And after all, I think they informed us that the two parter will be a heartbreaker like Last Rites was.
Idk guys. I mean they could, and have easily said in the past that that’s it and they won’t get to it. When they say keep watching, it actually makes me think they could address it with Arthur or Cruella down there. Although I am unsure if either are making anymore appearances this season. And I thought UW was officially over so the lost souls are probably truly lost. But if that’s the case, it’s quite annoying that they don’t just tell us it’s over instead of saying keep watching. That’s misleading. I’m starting to feel like a lost soul….
