Once Upon a Time fans will be seeing double this fall.
In a bid to put the Evil Queen behind her once and for all, Regina (Lana Parrilla) used Jekyll’s (Hank Harris) serum in the finale to extricate her evil side before ripping out the Evil Queen’s heart. But in a surprise twist, the Evil Queen reanimated and basically fired the first shot in the upcoming war.
Suffice it to say, the Evil Queen is very formidable — especially considering she’s not hampered down by the side of Regina that shows empathy or the ability to love. No, this Evil Queen is ready to fulfill what the season 1 version of the character set out to do.

If anyone still had any doubt they plan anything. I guess it’s more important to them to “shock” their audience rather than to tell a well built story. Sigh

Eh gad! What a thing to say…

So what? Does the entire fandom STOP theorizing altogether, in order for them to not do this? It’s worth noting that they actually considered changing Baelfire’s identity, but ultimately chose not to because “this is the story we want to tell.” Would be nice to follow their own old advice.

It’s one of those sentiments that, when read, comes across really weird from two professional showrunners/writers who stress that they have a plan every year. Kitsiss has a tendency to say the wrong thing and then Adam has to backtrack it later, so maybe Eddy really meant something else but…my “eh gad” still stands.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 1, 2016 at 1:29 am #325178sciencevsmagicParticipantMaybe Hyde has some ‘foot in mouth’ serum that he can give to Kitsiss.
I’m more worried about this statement though:
No, this Evil Queen is ready to fulfill what the season 1 version of the character set out to do.
I hope this doesn’t mean we have to sit through yet more episodes of the EQ trying to hunt down Snow White. Also, I’ve been wondering whether the EQ will remain in costume or start dressing like Regina. Part of the EQ’s charm is her costume, but wearing LWOM clothes could set her up for some Regina impersonation. I’d be surprised if they don’t have an identity confusion story at some point.

She’ll probably kill off a major character in the present to show her rathe, but I doubt it is one of the charmings. And if she also tries to hunt down Snow White in the present, it would sound thrilling and it make me say: “It’s going to be like old times again.” And if this season involves more flashbacks of the EQ hunting down Bandit Snow White, then so be it. I love to see more of it, especially when they would involve new characters in the stoires as new or old friends of Snow (like they did with Ariel and Hercules).
July 1, 2016 at 8:15 am #325181RumplesGirlKeymasterI don’t think any of the Charmings will die, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the EQ spend several episodes trying to get the upper hand on Snow. It’s very in keeping with S1 and I don’t think A and E could resist showing Regina trying to stop her other half from taking out Snow/Charming.

I don’t think that would work. Regina has mellowed out with Snow enough that EQ, With all her burning hatred for Snow, just can’t fake. Also the Charmings have spent enough time with Regina now to know when she is acting oddly. EQ now doesn’t have Regina’s light side holding her back like she did in season one and two. We are seeing pure unfiltered EQ.
What if EQ goes after Henry? She could fake it enough for him to fall into her clutches before he realises. Also Henry is the root of everything. If EQ were to kill Henry (or just generally prevent Henry from being a pain in the backside), she’s hit Regina, the Charmings and Rumple all at once.
All magic comes with a price!
