The Land of Untold Stories will provide a new avenue into the characters we’ve come to know and love over the last five seasons. “The intent is that these new characters and new stories are really a reflection on what’s going on inside of our characters,” says EP Adam Horowitz. “With Lana and the Evil Queen, that’s the starkest example, which we’ve already teased. We’re literally going inside her and pulling her apart. "He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I mean, are they saying that other characters are going to be split into separate parts like how regina was split between good and evil, or do they mean metaphorically like they are going to explore different aspects of the characters while only regina gets magically split?

I don’t think that’s literally what they meant.
I mean, are they saying that other characters are going to be split into separate parts like how regina was split between good and evil, or do they mean metaphorically like they are going to explore different aspects of the characters while only regina gets magically split?
To be honest I suspect it’s a bit of both we will have some character who will split and some characters who have to fight their inner demons in a more metaphorical sense

Who wants to speculate about the newbies we know are coming?
“Sindad and Scheherazade” – The description said that “Sinbad” has “lost faith in his ability to lead people”. Of the mains, I’d say this is most likely reflective of Emma’s current state. Not necessarily her ability to lead, but just her faith in herself and her ability to make the right decisions. She’s made some poor ones of late.
“Morpheus” – I actually suspect that this person is going to be a minor character. But if I had to place cookies on him, I’d guess that he’s connected to Rumple’s story about waking Belle.
Slim pickings so far. This will be more interesting when we have more characters to play with.
