well, they have to do something Beauty and the Beast since they robbed Rumbelle of it.

Is tricking and kidnapping a woman into marriage redeemable xD at least Beast gave Belle the choice, Hades just straight up duped the poor girl. But I always loved that story so I hope they do bring him in. Since its Disney, megara would probably take the role of Persephone.

Yep, I’m aware they’ve made references to it. They still haven’t directly adapted the story into the show.
Lion King might be right up their alley, actually, because while we all know it’s animals in the animal kingdom, the narrative is pretty much straight up Hamlet. So it wouldn’t take too much effort to just make them all human again, a la William Shakespeare

At that point, you might as well just directly adapt Hamlet instead. Unless you re-theme the Lion King story as an African tribe story, or something. Actually, that might not be a bad idea, especially when it would be a way of adding more diversity into the show.
