Being the Savior is not all it’s cracked up to be; Emma Swan learned that the hard way during Once Upon a Time’s sixth season premiere.

Facing an influx of new characters coming to Storybrooke from the Land of Untold Stories, along with the villainous Hyde (Sam Witwer) claiming ownership of the town, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) started to have visions of the future — a grim one that sees her fighting a hooded figure who ultimately gets the upper hand and killed her.

    Easy answer to question: no.

This is my issue with the seasonal problem: I don’t for a single second believe Emma Swan will actually die. There are really no stakes here.

Literally…they’re wasting their time even trying to sell that to us! Only way for that to really happen is if JMo wants out of the show, and I HIGHLY doubt that.

What if it’s the final season?

I stand by what I said in any case. I don’t think A and E have the guts to kill off Emma while still spouting that their show is about hope and family.

How could they kill off Emma and this show be at all reasonable? How could it ever be about family or hope? But well they killed Bae, so who knows.

No, they won’t kill off Emma. Not only is she the show’s protagonist and audience insert, but the time to kill Emma already came and went. Emma dying to save her family in Swan Song and then her family getting her back from the UW would have made perfect narrative and mythical sense (since saviors have been known to die and be resurrected).  However, they chose to go with making Hook into a dark one and then getting him back instead (which didn’t make sense). I predict Emma won’t die since Regina will save her from the Evil Queen. Regina defeating her own evil self will be Emma’s loophole to defeat her villain (aka the Evil Queen).

What if….. the cloaked figure is actually….. Emma.

And Emma… is actually Evil!Emma split from her good side. That might work right?

Haha this is exactly what I just came here to post. I was wondering if the Emma in her vision is her or someone else.  The focus is on the hooded figure so much- maybe it is misdirection.

Yeah I think it’s Emma–but not her Evil side, morel like her “orphan, insecure” side…basically a bodily representation of her famous Walls.
