Let me guess. Regina sees Robin Hood in a vision the way Emma saw Neal in a vision. Somehow Robin projects himself to Regina but she thinks she’s dreaming (even though she’s not).

, but the idea of Robin returning in a recurring capacity is strange in itself. It would explain why 608 is called “I’ll Be Your Mirror”, which happens to be the episode that they’re currently filming

Huh. Well that sounds plausible (in a nonsense sort of way)

Maaaybe but do you really need a multi episode arc for that? Neal got–what—5 mins?

Who knows with these writers? I think the online OQ fandom is more vocal about Robin’s death than the SF fandom was when Neal died. Maybe Robin’s soul really will project himself to Regina via magic mirror and/or another magical plot device of the week. If Rumbelle’s unborn baby can project himself as a full-grown man in Belle’s dream world and wake up his mother via TLK then I’m sure the writers can make Robin’s soul project himself to Regina somehow (either through visions, dreams, or by some other magical means). Robin’s soul already sent a feather of hope to Regina from heaven in 6×1. He can find other ways to communicate.

Could Adam and Eddy possibly pull a “he’s not coming back from the dead” because they’ll say he didn’t actually die, but instead the Olympian Chrystal just took him somewhere? They already kind of did that with Zelena and theyve planted the idea that Hades could have been lying. I could kind of see them having Robin become Regina’s mirror and it makes sense with the episode title, but I can’t see them having Regina’s “happy ending” be having her true love in a mirror… So if that happens I can’t see the show keeping him there.

The mirror theory makes sense. I’m very surprised that Sean actually accepted this request. He sounded quite bitter in his exit interviews and spouting dialogue from a mirror doesn’t exactly sound like a rewarding role. Besides, he’s got a new gig lined up in ‘Timeless’, so why return to OUAT when it treated him so badly?

    Money.

Also, I think that he didn’t like being obligated to be there all the time and doing nothing while being a reccuring star allows him to do different things as well.

Had a thought. What if they bring back in the scene from 4×15 – Poor Unfortunate Soul – where Regina dreams of meeting Robin in the woods and the Evil Queen appears to throw a fireball. Could that have been a vision of things to come now that’s she’s split? What do you guys think?

    This is my thinking too.

They used the words “demise”, “obliterated” in the article and first ep a lot. But not ‘dead’

So the reason A&E say “we are NOT bringing him back from the dead” so directly could may be because he’s not dead, but just lost somewhere in time and space.

Not sure Sean would come back to be a mirror …  😉
