Since we saw Elsa in the season 4 finale, I’ve been hoping the character might double up as the Ice Queen from Narnia. However, someone in the forums claimed (I didn’t do my own research) that Disney no longer owns the rights to The Chronicles of Narnia. Again, love your idea. HOpe its cannon.

Here we are folks….I’ve got a strong hunch that Elizabeth is playing either the Wicked Aunt who wanted the throne to herself….or the Original Winter Witch who like @TheWatcher said, cursed Elsa with the gift of ice and snow.

My guess is she will be playing the quote on quote “Big Bad” of the first half of Season 4, based on what the article implies. Elsa won’t be the real Big Bad, because Adam and Eddy keep saying she’ll be close to the movie version and will be “misunderstood.”

Her parents told the trolls that in the beginning when they go to them for help. So unless they retcon that part of the movie, I can’t see her cursing Elsa with her powers.
That said, I bet she’s the original Snow Queen, like others have said, from Hans Christian Anderson’s tale since Frozen in no way resembles the original tale and they can meld it into Frozen.

I wouldn’t want there to be more than one Snow Queen >> my biggest bet is that this lady truly is the person that they intended on having come out of the urn before they got the greenlight to do Elsa… (they spoke about that in an interview) and personally, I think that Gillian is the black Fairy >> I see both of the actresses are blonde, perhaps the one who played urn-Elsa was dressed as someone else before they redid the scene and dressed her as Elsa >> point is, my vote is Black Fairy. Two Snow Queens may be confusing. The Black Fairy could have cursed Elsa’s mother to bear a child with ice powers. Or something.
