Emma is sent home cause he’s pregnant or has a baby and hook and Emma doesn’t want their child to grow up without its parents. So what happens is at the end of 7×02 we get a FF to post curse hook reuniting with Emma and their child and then the rest of the season for hook is about getting to that moment.
There isn’t evidence that she had another baby since it’s still an unconfirmed CS fan theory. Even if there is another child, better to have Hook raise the child and for Emma to help Henry and Lucy because she actually is the savior and the one who has powerful protective magic. Just because she is a mother, it doesn’t mean she has to stop being the savior. What kind of savior would Emma be if she knowingly abaondoned her firstborn son and grandchild to face a great evil when they need her the most? The real savior Emma Swan would never do that! Better to have her go out dying to protect Henry and Lucy than to abaondon them in their hour of dire need.

I think Eddie said something about a kid being the next step, but if there is a kid I think it will be older. Like a teenager.
No, Eddy didn’t say a CS kid would be the next step. What Edward Kitsis actually said was:
While the producers played coy about whether Emma and and Hook have since given Henry a sibling, we will get an answer soon. “We can’t say whether or not they have a child, but we can tell you we answer that question in the beginning of the season,” Kitsis says. Source: EW
Just because the question will be answered, it doesn’t mean they actually had a kid. The answer could still be no. Of course, Eddy can’t say because he wants to bait fans and keep them watching even though Jennifer Morrison very publicaly left the show. Eddy is just desperate for people to watch so he can continue making his show.

I agree. Knowing Emma will only be here for an ep and that they answer the question early in the season if not the first episode seems to indicate to me the answer is no. I feel like it will be one line of dialog that will tell us they odnt have a child.
Henry: “I went off to find my own adventure and I wanted my mom and Hook to have a baby and live a decent life, but mom just wanted to keep fighting evil.” <— And that would be the end of it.
I don’t think if CS has a child, its something we just see or hear and it wont be relevant, unless that child is grown up and apart of the cast and we just don’t know it. But no, I honeslty would prefer it if Emma adopted tbh. But of course with this show, the child would really turn out to the child of satan….and then we’d learn satan wants the kid back and that he has a tragic backstory and then it all gets resolved when Emma/Hook decide to coparent the tot with Satan who gets redeemed as a hero by the end of it. Wow, I really trailed off there.

it’s a nice way to get her off the show if she were returning later. I wouldn’t really like it if Emma pops up, goes: “Hey guys. I’ve a bun in this oven! So see ya guys never” and then we don’t see her ever again because, again, this is the only episode she will be appearing in again. Ever. This is her curtain call. It’s possible the baby may stick around but….why?
i don’t want a Hook/Henry/CS baby seal without Emma especially knowing she isn’t coming back. Unless they pull a Prue Hailliwell and they always give excuses as to why she can’t be seen (for those who don’t remember when Prue died they never showed her spirit or anything despite the fact that the charmed ones could bring their family’s ghosts back. They always gave excuses as to why Prue never showed up when in reality the actress was fired or something like that)

I would still say it could go either way. Though, since they are done now with Captain Swan, because Emma is gone for good somehow, it makes sense to just finish it. Especially, if they intend to continue on with the Hook character for an extended period of time.
Though a new child would add a sibling for Henry and give something for Hook who has no connection at all to the characters left on the show. I think that is why i think that it could go either way. Whatever they are going to do with Emma is not going to make sense and will probably being pretty much awful. That has been true for quite a long time, in my opinion, so really that leaves what would a this child do for the show and for the characters left and i think a child could add something.
Though, it might make it more difficult for Hook to have a new love interest, which because of how this show is, i think is inevitable. I do think though, if there is a new child, it will be older.
