I dont believe Emma will die, but if they were to go that route, episode 2 may still end great, but that doesnt mean she cant die off screen, and for example, if by end of 7a they would get their memories back, the viewers could be told that Emma died, and Hook decided to help Henry in Emmas memory, we cant forget that even Colin said that he only knew about Dark Hook, before he got the script of something like that, so even the actors may not know the full ending, also even if Cs has a kid (that may be a child or teen, that doesnt exclude Emma ebing dead, Disney is known for killing parents), that would give Hook another thing in 7b, being a single parent and maybe find a new love, if Regina, can have a True love that dies, and a soud mate that dies, only to probably find a TL/SM in s7, the same can happen to Hook.
Like i said before, i don`t believe Emma dies, which means maybe they may get only their memories back at the end of the season, and we dont get the reunion onscreen, probably bc if they end having a s8 or even if they dont get, some characters return to SB and others stay at the place they are now, because this season is about Henry and Cinderella and Lucy finding each other, the viewers only need to know the other 3 old characters are back at SB and happy, not need to see it, they already saw that last season.

Regina had a whole season to mourn the loss of Robin, If Emma dies Hook and the audience deserve that same respect they gave Regina. It would take Hook a lot longer then a season to move on from Emma Swan, especially when it took him 300 yrs to move on from Milah.
Plus on off screen death would be the most disrespectful thing they could do to Emma Swan.
Mind you this is all a moot point as everything they’ve said to me absolutely suggests that Emma is not going to die.

I’m almost in tears laughing at this! All I can remember is one, maybe three episodes specifically. But if there was a whole season I missed, please direct me to it. I’d love to see this season you speak of! Lol!
Besides…if Emma were to die…I’m positive it’d be on screen. They would at least give her that, but then again…this is Adam and Eddy. And quite frankly…I’m still half and half with Regina getting a new LI, and even if Emma died….Hook doesn’t quite need a new LI either. Can we just go back to S1 style where there basically were no ships, and the show focused only on the personal growth and development of the characters, and not their romantic relationships.

Oh okay, now I understand. Because Regina only shed one tear for him, interrupted Evil Queen at his grave, and spent four episodes with Wish Realm Robin (Which technically was only given due to the demand and backlash from Hoodies/OQ). Adam & Eddy are terrible when it comes to actually dealing with grief and mourning in their characters.
But if it’s any consolation, I can pretty much promise that even if Emma were to die in episode 2 or later, Hook would not be getting a love interest for quite some time because the backlash from CS would probably be catastrophic. That is of course if Adam & Eddy secretly know this is their last season, and decide to just do whatever they want.

As the spoiler pics of S7 show, I think Emma is petrified in the bug under the troll bridge, unreachable, and probably dead. I think that we may not see this happen, but that it will be clear from the bug turned to stone what happened to her. I agree that Hook doesn’t need a love interest right now. He’d be better off single and learning how to be a better man just for the sake of it rather than to win a woman’s approval (something he’s always struggled with deep down). Let him be a better man and a good step-dad to Henry and maybe in S7b after a true redemption arc he can find love again with someone else (maybe a very single and lonely barmaid….).
