If Adam (or Eddy) says it’s canon, it is, but they probably delete lots of stuff that they decide is not canon later. The Rumple’s dad scene is a good example.

November 1, 2014 at 12:46 am #288391RumplesGirlKeymasterTrue Matt.
But in the case of Rumple and the original father tale, it was because they decided on a different story that still fell along the same lines as “Rumple abandoned by Papa”
This is a weird thing to cut from canon because it means that Emma never learned about Graham and that she’s never thought about it. Which…is odd, at least now, that she’s lumping him in with Neal and Walsh in terms “people I’ve been with that I’ve lost.”

Being a hero doesn’t suit Regina, being a neutral character with leanings towards good does. I just hope they don’t do what they did in 3B where they made Emma useless so Regina could save the day. Regina’s light magic better not be tied to OQ because there’s nothing worse than taking a strong independent female character like Regina and saying she can only do good magic when she has a man in her life.
Good news that we might see Anatasia and Tinkerbell and find out what the dirty work Hook did for Pan.
Not so good on that there might be another major death, though I’m hoping it’s not one of the regulars this time, but just a major character ie Snow Queen is a major character in 4A though I’m hoping she doesn’t die. Although they didn’t say the death was going to stick so…

I think Regina was always fated to use light magic, hence why she had such a terrible time learning dark magic. It came with ease for Cora and Zelena, but Regina was full of love when she was younger, her powerhouse was love, not hate. Had Rumple taught Regina light magic, I’m willing to bet she would have instantly mastered it. But we all know he had to make his “monster”….and taught her to control her magic through rage and hatred….hence dark.
(Sigh) Just to think that it was never really even Regina’s fate to be dark, but Zelena’s…..though Cora must have been pretty powerful….Rumple came no where near them when Regina was a child. Either that or the exes just didn’t wanna see each other….
But I must agree….No Full On Hero Regina! I prefer her as an Anti Hero….she can do what the good guys can’t do! Anti Heroes do good or evil things for the greater good…and that better defines Regina than calling her some 100% Goody Two Shoe Hero! 🙂

November 1, 2014 at 12:07 pm #288425KebParticipantI’m not sure Rumple comprehended light magic when he met Cora, Zelena, and Regina. My little Rumbelle heart wants to believe that he wasn’t inspired to try to use True Love with the curse until he met Belle, and that it was Belle’s influence that showed him he had to teach Emma to use love, not hate, to fuel her magic.

November 1, 2014 at 8:01 pm #288457MatthewPaulModeratorThere seem to be some misconceptions based on an EW interview Eddy and I recently gave with regards to Graham on #OnceUponATime —
— Adam Horowitz (@AdamHorowitzLA) November 1, 2014
Emma does not and did not know Regina killed Graham. As she said to Henry in ep. 108, she saw an autopsy that said he died of natural causes

Some seem to believe we gave an interview where we said we shot and deleted a scene where Emma confronted Regina about Graham. We did not.

There must've been some misunderstanding somewhere but no such scene was ever written or shot or deleted.

@AdamHorowitzLA OK< so I'm not crazy. I've been searching high and low for the alleged quote, found nada so far.

The original video where Matt reported that, which he apparently doesn’t remember: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkJnTx8MMrc#t=3m55s
Seems like TVLine might have made another flub with that particular news, just like how the initially reported Lily as “Henry’s potential girlfriend.”
November 1, 2014 at 9:40 pm #288464CorbinParticipantI’m calling shenanigans. Knowing how close Mitovich is to A&E, he was probably asked not to mention the video.
And even if he didn’t remember, didn’t TVLine stop the “Spoiler Alert” videos during the 2012-2013 season anyway? If they did, then I wouldn’t blame him.

He still made the flub about Lilly being Henry’s girlfriend, when that wasn’t even remotely close, so his track record hasn’t been 100% accurate. At the end of the day, he’s still just a reporter who has made his share of errors. Fortunately, he tends to be more right than wrong.
November 2, 2014 at 8:43 am #288499PriceofMagicParticipant@MP you should tweet Adam with the proof of that video.

Lily wasn’t a flub. She was speculation. The video in question suggests and A and E directly told Matt about this scene; why would he speculate on a scene if they’ve never told him about it. Idk…I’m sorta with Corbin on this one. I think they asked him not to mention it.
