Will Henry be there for Regina after what happened in the season finale on Once Upon a Time? Any story coming up for them in season 4? — Tales11
Henry may be the one thing that actually keeps Regina from slipping to the dark side again after Robin Hood’s long-dead wife, Marian, resurfaced in the present. “We’re going to see Henry on a mission with Regina this year,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. “And maybe some of his light side will rub off on her.”[adrotate group="5"]September 5, 2014 at 5:15 pm #281627obisgirlParticipantOkay, I think this snippet from the season 4 summary makes a lot of sense now:
Henry is very happy to have both of his mothers back in Storybrooke. But with biological mom Emma and paternal grandfather Rumplestiltskin’s blood running through his veins, he will be tested by both the light and the darkness.
I think it’s interesting that we might see Regina struggle between staying good or going evil and, maybe since Henry will be working in Gold’s shop, there’s a potential for him to learn magic as well. He could be tempted by Dark Magic (happened with Pan), but I think ultimately, he’ll choose light because that’s who Henry is. And Regina wants to be someone worthy of her son’s love and by extension, Robin as well.

If Season 4 is a repeat of Season 2, then it may just go backwards just as Season 3 was backwards with Season 1!
In 2×02, Regina let Henry go live with David…..In 4×02, Henry comes back home to live with his mother!

But why….I mean….how come Emma gets Henry on Weekdays? In the eyes of the law, Emma is not his mother because she signed over all parental rights when she gave him up for adoption. Regina has legal, full custody of Henry, and raised him from three weeks to ten years. Now…sure this is Once, so Henry would have to spend time with Emma, but that time could really go back to how it used to be in Season 1, only this time….instead of Henry and Emma sneaking around Regina, Regina willingly allows Henry to go see Emma whenever he wants.
The Charming house has become too filled for it being a two bedroom, Henry needs his own room. Sure Emma can go find her own place, but then Hook….he really needs a place to stay. It’d just be too messy….why would Henry abandon his home of ten years for a crammy apartment? Not to mention the fact that Regina’s going to need him more than ever….yeah, he needs to go come back home to the mother who raised him.

September 6, 2014 at 2:45 pm #281652TheWatcherParticipantThe best solution In my eyes is the one Henry came up with on his own in “Kansas”. He will live with BOTH. He will spend some days with Emma (when she gets her own place) and some days with Regina, not putting one over the other and i think that’s best.

This.
This is not a case of who should have Henry, it’s a question of what is best for Henry.
Henry loves both his mothers, Henry wants to live with both, Henry wants to spend time with both. There doesn’t need to be an overly elaborate schedule here. Regina and Emma live in the same town! and more than that, Regina and Emma live maybe a few blocks from each other. This is not a situation where the parents are in opposite cities or states and we need to work out who gets Henry on which day or weekends or holidays.
On behalf of children everywhere who floated between homes at a young age, I WISH my situation had been this easy and solvable.

I don’t know, I just see him as living with Emma more, probably because in season 2 he just dropped Regina and lived with the Charmings for the entirety of season 2 then in 3A after they got back from Neverland “Henry” chose Regina because he was secretly Pan then 3B he spent all his time with Emma. I guess the way they’ve presented Henry so far on the series is that he was either forced to stay with Regina because he had to (season 1), he preferred to be with the Charmings (season 2), he chose to stay at Regina’s because he was secretly Pan (3A), he lost his memory so as far as he knew Emma was his “only” mom (3B). Season 2 Henry was quite irritating.
Henry could surprise everyone and say he wants to live with Rumple.
I just think it would be easier for Henry to stay at one residence during the week because of school (if he actually bothered going) instead of traipsing to and fro between various houses where stuff gets forgotten and left behind.

Keeper of FelixSeptember 6, 2014 at 4:42 pm #281658WickedRegalParticipantWell….Holidays is an easy solution, everyone gets Henry then! Regina being the family matriarch, and the person with the biggest house in Storybrooke(Well…debatable with Rumple)…I’m quite sure Christmases, Thanksgivings, Halloweens, Fourth of July’s could easily be spent either there or Rumple’s Mansion.
Alright fine….but, the living situation has to change. Henry can’t possibly live with his grandparents, new uncle, and bio mother under a two bedroom, crammed apartment. I mean between that, and the four/five bedroom mansion Regina has….or even the four bedroom mansion Rumple has….the kid needs his own space.
What Adam and Eddy have tried to pull was an instant mother out of Emma….they’ve tried their hardest, even going so far as installing false memories in Emma and Henry that Emma had always been there in his life. Trying to put Emma on an instant equal pedestal as Regina…just doesn’t seem too fair, as the woman has only really known her son for two years. And the Charmings have taken advantage of that situation, such as Emma’s constant Season 2B/Season 3B baring “He’s My Son!”

Yes of course he does.
