How will Regina handle facing the people she killed when Once Upon a Time goes to the Underworld? — DJ
Though it will be a little overwhelming considering how many lives Regina is responsible for taking, she is ready to face them. “She wants to confront these souls and these people that she has hurt, that she has killed,” Lana Parrilla says. “She’s on the right path, and she’s still on the path of redemption. She still wants to make amends with people and still trying to do the right thing. She’s really embracing the hero within her.”http://www.ew.com/article/2016/01/15/spoiler-room-mr-robot-greys-anatomy-flash-spoilers

At what point do we decide she can stop embracing? And can you really make amends with people you’ve killed? “Golly, so sorry that I killed you horribly and cruelly, but if it makes you feel any better, I really feel bad about it now and am on a better path. I’m embracing the hero within.” Yeah that means nothing to people in Hell/Underworld/Some-Vague-Mythology-Place-Of-People-Not-Living

@RG You are not seing this from the victim side, u have to pretend u are the victim to understand the article. Im sure Regina victims will be able to finally move on, just by knowing that their killer is on the hero path and will have a happy ending, i mean, unless if they are killed by her again, then they cant move on to anywhere, bc appears they can die after already being dead on this UW version, but lets not think negative, im sure they wont die, im sure they will simply be happy for Regina and that will be their way of move on to a better world. So if we look from the victim side actually makes sense, is every murder victim see their killer happy and alive, will make them all very happy.

In a way, even though she killed them, she’d be setting them free to move on to whatever happy, Heaven Like Place that the good souls go once their business is finished. It’d be coming full circle in a way, the person who caused their deaths have come to set them free into a place of peace.

Yup and that’s why it makes sense. If it was just Regina being like, “Sorry I killed you, but I’m different now. I’m good,” I’d be like, ummmmmm I don’t care what you are now. You killed me. But if her giving them some sort of closure helps them to move on from the UW, then I can see this working not only for Regina’s arc to fully complete her journey from dark to light by literally saving those she tormented and killed, but also for the plot since they are now in the UW. I really like this, and I hope the writers don’t blow it. This should close her redemption arc and she should be full hero after this season if they do it right.
