The Coven of Eight is not the only threat fans should be worried about in the back half of the season. “The Coven is part of it, but it’s not necessarily hopefully what you expect,” EP Adam Horowitz says. “It’s not just going straight up against them. There’s a twist to it and a threat that comes from another direction.” Here’s a giant clue from EP Edward Kitsis about that other threat: “There is an awake fairy tale character that is out for revenge and starts to exact it in Seattle against people who have no idea what they’re up against,” Kitsis says, noting that said character “has a very specific target.”

Maybe it’s Dr. Facilier going after Tiana. Based on spoilers, perhaps we’ll see they met again in the past and he has a vendetta against her.

No, cause we’re already led to believe she’s the main threat right now, and she’s technically a part of the Coven of Witches. “It’s not just going straight up against them. That’s a good thought too. I could definitely see the medal coming back into play. Also OUAT often likes to go a generation (or two) back from the well-known characters. Tiana’s dad could have another fairytale identity.

Oh yeah, I’m guessing at the very least he made a deal with Facillier to become royalty and fall in love with Tiana’s mother, and in true rumple fashion, there was a price and Tiana’s Pop tried to back out of it, and thus now Facillier is trying to go after Tiana to get it. It is probably connected to the medallion because like the teacup for Rumbelle or the ribbons for the snow queen, its probably an object that represents their true love and is thus extremely powerful.
