Moana wasn’t even big at the box office, at least not compared to a lot of other Disney films so I don’t bringing her on will significantly increase the ratings like Frozen did at all.
Frozen was huge but did Frozen boost the rating that much when they showed up on the show? I don’t recall

Boost is an understatement. The S3 finale ended at a 2.3. The S4 premiere was a 3.5 so yeah it was a big increase.
Moana wouldn’t even bring them remotely close to that much of an increase. The show is more or less done and is just stretching it’s run one more year.
Yeah, I mean I admit I have yet to see Moana but I don’t think its enough to reign in a large number of people as Frozen would, which sweeped the entire world by snow storm.
Disney characters couldn’t save this show. A musical episode couldn’t save it. Marrying Captain Swan couldn’t save. Seriously, A&E really beter have one heck of a story next year. Hopefully they have learned a valuable lesson
