Adam and Eddy just took part in a fan Q&A session on the OUAT Facebook page. Here is the video:
[adrotate group="5"]September 22, 2016 at 5:56 pm #327497RumplesGirlKeymaster1) Jafar timeline question: okay, but what about the “many years ago” flashback in 601? When does that fit in?
2) “When we had film class at the U of Wisconsin” Okaaaaaay lol
3) More Charming family history to come (AKA: his father is actually alive) (also possibly the Count of Monte Cristo) (or a Musketeer)
4) Hook has probably been everywhere. But…but…he was in NVL. For like most of the time. Like, that was the deal with Hook. He stayed in NVL until he learned what would kill Rumple. An errand for Pan here or there, sure, but we’re still really unclear on how he left, how he came back…
5) Mal and Lily: “we’re working on it” LOL!!!! So the same answer as like the past two years!
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"September 22, 2016 at 6:05 pm #327499MatthewPaulModeratorThe most interesting thing we got out of this was confirming that Victorian England will appear in Season 6, which we figured was the case with Dr. Lydgate returning in 604. Most likely, that’s where Jekyll’s originally from. They also teased the possibility of doing one of these three types of episodes: Halloween, Christmas or Musical episode.

Most likely Halloween as they could incorporate The Nightmare before Christmas into that. They’ve not got the talent to write a musical episode (unless they just plan on the actors singing the Disney songs). Christmas wise we’re probably looking at a Christmas Carol. Muppets did it and they come under the Disney umbrella (you used to get muppets clips on the Disney VHS tapes).

Christmas Carol is also a very classic piece of literature, and one that could fit with the Land of Untold Stories. Now I can’t help but imagine Rumple in the Ebenezer Scrooge role. lol!
September 22, 2016 at 7:09 pm #327505kranenParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if it was a musical myself. They’ve been nagged to do one since the show started. Perhaps the fact that The Flash / Supergirl is getting one pushed them over the line.
September 22, 2016 at 7:34 pm #327510hjbauParticipantI would love for them to do a musical episode, but the writers are just not good enough, so i would rather they just not.
September 22, 2016 at 7:53 pm #327511RumplesGirlKeymasterI think I might be alone in this, but I personally don’t want a musical episode unless (unless!!) it is written, directed, and totally under the supervision and vision of Joss Whedon. Like, A and E take a week long vacation to Borneo and Joss just pops in on a whim and manages to write and shoot a musical episode.
Also, it has to air before A and E come back from vacay and change things.

I could see them getting Alan Menken and Glen Slater on board. Considering the show’s heavy association with Disney, they would make the most sense from a business point of view. Not like they haven’t done TV before, either. Rest in peace, Galavant. I imagine one of the biggest hurdles is whether enough cast members are capable of singing well. Off the top of my head, the only current regular cast member I know of with musical experience is Colin. For everyone else, would they be able to successfully coach them? One reason The Flash and Supergirl are getting a musical crossover is because they realized that quite a few of their actors have a musical theatre background.
September 22, 2016 at 8:20 pm #327514TheWatcherParticipantI think a christmas episode is more likely. A family heavy episode where everyone gets together and sone trouble pops out around dinner.
Santa of course is a given. Maybe even Krampus 😀
A musical would be great but i think it’s unlikely and a halloween episode could also work. But i think Christmas is it. They alalready did a few “scary” episodes anyway (rapunzel, Frankenstein)
