I have been obsessing lately over words the characters use. The Blue Fairy states that magic must have brought the diamonds BACK to SB. My question, why use the word back? It suggests that she had looked for the stones before the curse was broken. Yet didn’t she loose her memories like the others? Why would she have been looking for the stones before if she had not retained her memories. I think I am jumping on the Blue Fairy was in the know band wagon.

There is a fan theory that the Blue Fairy used magic before the curse hit the Enchanted Forest to preserve her memories from FTL. So, yes, I think your observation of her choice of words might very well support that notion. She might’ve known all along who she really is, and may have been in contact with August, who was working from outside of SB to make sure Emma fulfilled her destiny.

I didn’t really think much of her saying that, but I guess it could be an indication that she had her memories, (I’m a subscriber to that theory), and had checked before. I sorta just took it as, “We didn’t have magical stuff in SB, but now we do, coz YAY magic is back.”
