I think it has been mentioned before that David and James will meet each other at some point. I think it was in an interview or something, I think it was either Adam or Eddy that said something along the lines of “It would be serious shame if they never met”. I wonder if it was one of those hot seats where they answer the questions with “yes”, “no”, or “cant say”?

.Meh. Don’t like this one all that much. It was so utterly predictable and I’m really not happy that they denied Mulan part of the much anticipated LGBT story. This is one of those episodes where everyone dragged their feet and the plot just stopped. But the biggest issue is this: A and E said they didn’t want this episode to be “a very special episode” but that’s what it was! You had two previously unacknowledged, previously unattached, previously tertiary and fourth tier characters come out of the closet, having never interacted before or even been aware of each others existence and seal it with a TLK to wake from a sleeping curse. It was all about a “very special episode” complete with the punchline to the joke: who is gay on OUAT?! A and E designed this episode to only be tweetable and to have articles published about their show, not because it was anything organic or meaningful. Back to Forgotten Character Island they all go! Because that’s how you respect the LGBT community? By giving them tokenism for one episode before forgetting it forever?!

–Someone’s gotta pick me up off the floor cause Hook said thank you. I mean, it was brief and instantly reverted back to his own self-worth and narcissism but hey….he said thanks!
–“Kansas and Wolfie” sounds like a bad buddy-buddy cop TV show from the 70s.
–Greg Germann is excellent and we need to keep him; seriously he melted Auntie Em and them mopped her up with a rag and then wrung her into a mason jar. It’s so over the top and stupid that it’s great.
–“That’s so, Savior.” I love when the characters are self aware of their and others cosmic standing.
–The Snow and Ruby conversation about Dorothy was really great. It’s so nice to see people who have a lot of history and weight behind their interactions have a real human moment.
–I also love that all the characters are supportive of Ruby, not freaked out or horrified. They just believe in love and that…THAT…is a positive message.
–Snowing’s TL music will never NOT make me weepy. I miss S1. I miss it a lot.
–Ruby and Dorothy after the initial TLK was great and wonderful. Too bad they get shipped back to Forgotten Character Island now.
MIXED
–Red using a tracking spell to find Zelena. I mean, it’s nonsense because it’s also realm jumping, but at least they put in an explanation.
–Belle vacillating like mad with her “I let my heart turn to darkness to save you.” Yeah, it should be difficult for her, but they are hitting the same beats every week. Progress, please.
–I don’t dislike the Ruby/Dorothy relationship. The way the writers created Dorothy, to be someone who’s family hurt her, as an outcast, and who has a strong relationship with a canine, it make sense to bond her to Ruby. BUT. This should be Mulan’s story. It really should. They’ve set her up as a lesbian since S2/3 and for them to not follow through reeks of Disney interference and it makes me really sad.

–And Mulan and Ruby got to Oz…how?
–Zelena’s feather-hat bothers me like crazy
–There is no way that Toto sounds like that, no matter how dense the trees. Sillyness.
–“I have the love of my child!” No, your child is 2 days old. It just wants to scream, sleep, and eat. It doesn’t understand or have love of you. You are literally a feeding machine. It’s more accurate to say that you love your child and have love for her.
–Belle has morning sickness but she is so newly pregnant that she didn’t even know she was pregnant when Rumple told her. But Zelena, who was pregnant for long enough to fully know she was with child, never had morning sickness? That makes NO sense.
–If Mulan plays the pronoun game ONE MORE TIME…..*head desk*
–So if you can replace the names, then just pick three villains from any realm and replace Emma, David, and Regina?!
–And Robin Hood was where this episode?
–And Snow made it to SB…how?
–Belle in a sleeping curse! Doesn’t except to be woken up by Rumple but by MOe?!

–The river of souls twist with Aunt Em (not because yay, but because it was a good twist I thought…and I’m still hoping for a way to save the lost souls).
–David staying so Snow could go. Best Snowing moment since S1. Beautifully done. (but why didn’t they take back the kids & Robin Hood too?)
–The TLK worked nicely for me, actually. And I feel like, though it was long overdue, they managed to make it feel natural within the universe like they said they wanted to, rather than a big deal. But of course it IS a big deal and we’re not likely to see much more of the characters which is still a problem (though at least Red was once a regular, so there’s that…)
–Rumple doing research when Belle finds him.Disliked:
–When did Gaston give Belle back the book in the flashbacks? I’m not remembering, but she had it in both 406 and 112, which are after she loaned it to Gaston. Just…bugged me slightly.
–Um, Belle, no, no, this is a bad idea, this doesn’t fix things, why are you panicking?
–RIP FrankenWolf. :/ I’m liking Kansas & Wolfie, they’re cute, but I did rather like FrankenWolf as a ship and I was sad that they just abandoned that thread in S2.
–No, SERIOUSLY, BELLE, NO. Rumple tells you not to do the thing, you don’t do the thing, why do people never learn?
–Wait, so what Belle said about TLK not working because it wasn’t a curse if he wanted it suddenly doesn’t count? It’ll undo his curse to undo hers?
–She’s trusting her father to do it? I mean, her father loves her but True Love is supposed to be rare…it’s not supposed to work for just ANY loving pair. Her father sold her off into an engagement she didn’t want and tried to erase her memories against her will…I mean, he DOES love her but I’m not sure it’s enough otherwise Regina would have been able to wake Henry from the curse without Emma’s help in S1…I…I don’t know what to make of this.
–Also this means the only Belle we’ll get for weeks is Sleeping Belle. Again.

.Infants do love their mothers. You can see it in their eyes from the first moment they see you and touch you. They calm for their mother because they feel protected. They might be able to see you clearly, but you just know. It’s something unexplainable.
I feel for Zelena because I hate this. Yes she is evil, but we all felt for Mal when Snow took her baby. Probably one of the reasons I haven’t liked this season. Eeh…..
Ruby and Mulan in Oz. Why? How? Oh, right…pointless questions, my bad.
Regina is a hypocrite, why the baby is about her and not Robin?!?What is the point of Mulan?! of course she’s not the one in the relationship because SHOCK. also, she’s a POC, they don’t deserve true love, they are only here to serve the white characters.

Hades didn’t enchant Hook’s hook to carve names, he gave him a tool. Why should they bother with continuity in the SAME season?
Snow left so she can do better things like promoting Zootopia, good for her.
A nice old lady was poured into that river thing, I hope there’s a way to get people out of there and she won’t be forgotten (of course she will cause the viewers don’t care about her).
Belle, a better idea is to get out of the Underworld. Hades can’t take your child away from you if the baby is in the land of the living (Of course, you and the writers and the audience forgot about that inconvenient plot point).

You’re right. Hook had a chisel, which he throws to the ground in 5×14 when he refuses to do as Hades bids. Hades even directly references the tool!
Hades: (Sighs) Oh, come on. All you need to do is choose three of your friends to stay here. Carve their name. W-what’s the problem? Is it the chisel? So unwieldy for the one-handed. Or writer’s block?
