That’s pretty much how I feel about this episode. It was just…there. There’s a lot I don’t like. I don’t lie what they are doing to Rumple, making him to be THE MOST EEEEEEEEEVIL and basically ignoring any progress he once made. To paraphrase, “Neal is dead, Belle loves me, but it doesn’t matter. I’m a villain.” He makes wrong choices but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t sense to those wrong choices–he wanted to find his son, he wanted to save Bae and Belle from Pan, there were logical and well written decisions. I don’t even recognize my favorite character anymore.
Sex in a crypt. With dead bodies. Twice. I can’t even.
Snow saying that she was selfish as a kid. Erm. When? Once she snapped at Joanna. That’s it.
Things I liked

–Kristoff
–Will Scarlett got to do a bit more this week.
–Elsa/Emma scene was good

And it wasn’t in the crypt…remember Regina has a secret room where she went into hiding in Season 2, so we can’t say for sure that OutlawQueen were making Smores in a crypt. 🙂
Everything else was a blur because I was unconscious from OQ Feels…
But what I do remember….that door! The Magic Door leading to our world? Really! Rumple manipulated Regina into casting a curse on an entire world when there was a door this entire time?????? #NoFurtherComment
We weren’t shown ALL The past of Regina and Snow, so if Snow says she was a spoiled brat, then she was a spoiled brat.
The missing page…I KNEW IT! I knew Regina met Robin in the past, someone erased their memories! Rumple or Blue! Who Did IT!!!!

–That I was right and it WAS Hook who needed to be a victim for the hat thing to free Rumple…I just didn’t see how yet.
–The delicious set up of Rumple controlling Hook now…it’s got some serious potential, given their history. Plus those two together are awesome. I’m still trusting that ultimately, Hook will not die and Rumple will be saved by true love in the end…so…it’s going to be fun to watch the mess in the middle.
–Rumple & Emma’s conversations. Those were impressive and powerful and beautiful and confirmed everything I believed about how Rumple sees Emma…he’s too addicted to refuse the power when it walks right into his shop on a swan-shaped platter, but he respects her and gave her the choice in the end. He even told her she didn’t need to change.
–Henry’s conversation with Regina. Also beautiful and a good message overall.
–Emma’s magic celebration with her family. I do love her smile in those rare moments when she’s truly happy.
–Anna being Anna with Elsa. It was pretty much perfect.
–1982. I love solid timeline evidence. But that means she should look a lot older, shouldn’t she?
Disliked:
–NO BELLE!!! (but you knew this was coming, didn’t you, from me?) *whinewhimperbabysittingnofairnotevencutebelle&babyandnowit’sawholetwoweekstillnextep*
–Rumple going back on deals. He didn’t completely, I guess…but…
–Neither Belle nor Gold overhearing Hook’s impassioned confession when it was the PERFECT setup for some serious drama. I just felt let down at the end of that scene.
–Everyone seeming quite happy about OQ and nobody except Regina even remembering that Marian’s frozen and still married to Robin. And NO, Snow, you were NOT with a married man, you only believed that because Regina MADE you believe it with her curse. You were with your own bloody husband, whom you cheated on with Whale but again you were CURSED. You know, by Regina.
–And….no Belle. I’m just going to go sulk in a corner here, I guess. Maybe timeline her wedding or something. *sigh* A whole extra hour without my favorite character (who IS a regular, I get that lots of people don’t see enough of their faves but mine’s a regular…).

The door was created for Ingrid. The apprentice said the sorcerer doesn’t make deals (and isn’t a big fan of Dark Ones) so I don’t think that would have worked out for Rumple.

Technically she was….Cursed or Not….Snow knowingly had an affair with a married man….so yeah. You all can blame Regina, but Snow knew exactly what she was doing….cursed or not.

I don’t think that’s what it meant at all. Just that fate has many different paths, and their lives *could* have been different if she had walked into the pub. Thats essentially what Robin said in that scene, that there are multiple versions of the story.
