I’ll keep it brief:
Liked: This episode gave me the ship Captain King. I hate both characters, but they had so much chemistry.
Disliked: Everything else.
Also: “Storybrooke — Present Day” WHY!?

Also the look between Hook and Arthur when Cruella said that line! 😆
SFG
Keeper of Anna’s Awkward Babbling and Kristoff’s Fur-trimmed Tunic!
May 9, 2016 at 4:56 am #323083nonnieParticipantI must have missed something….how did Hook get the missing pages?
I thought HOOK and ARTHUR found it in Hades’ throne room under the throne cushion…. how convenient
Yes the pages were in the throne room; the book itself was…in the gargoyle? (But how? Henry left it in the library?)
THE pages HOOK & ARTHUR found were the ones that were torn out of the book in an earlier episode then thrown down the well …. Those pages were all about HADES. HADES hid those so no one else could read them.
The pages AND book Henry wrote for the people to get out of the UNDERWORLD were in the book stuffed in the gargoyle. Hook needed the book to send the information to EMMA …
How HOOK knew to put the pages in the book to get information to EMMA that is a mystery to me.

There was such a HUGE contrast between Regina’s dignified grief and Emma’s crying and carrying on. One actually had emotional depth, the other was so hollow that I felt like administering a slap. In fact, I want Regina to administer the slap to Emma in the next episode, because it’s her fault that Robin’s dead. I’m peeved enough that I want the ratings to drop because of this episode.
May 9, 2016 at 8:29 am #323096onceaholicParticipantWell. This was one big stinking dollop of nope for me.
What a mess of an episode this was. 3/10. Points go to Regina and Zelena’s actresses, or maybe the only three things I liked about this episode.
LIKES
-Robin had lines.
-Robin had balls re: Regina giving the baby to Zelena. (First and only Outlaw Queen tiff).
-Zelena choose Regina over Hades, and killed the latter.
DISLIKES
Oh, where do I begin? First the general dislikes, and then the plotholes.
-The baby was named Robin. Too predictable.
-Robin dies.
-Robin dies, and then apparently is not as worthy of living again despite helping to defeat Hades in his own way. Only Hooky-Poo is worthy, it seems.
-Be careful of the waxwork (plastic?) crystal folks. It’s lethal.
-Emma wants to defeat Hades because she wants to protect the town. End of. So drop it, Charming. Oh wait, now the writers agree with Charming. What???
-Arthur is killed. Camelot arc ends before it has begun. He decides that his destiny was to fix the underworld instead. What a cop out. What a waste of potential.
-How did the book in the Underworld write itself without Henry?
-How the heck did Hook send the page up to the Overworld? Until now the only way to send messages or influence the living was through the telephone box. Well, color me confused. Please excuse me while I skirt around this gaping big plothole.
-How the heck are pages able to appear in the Overworld story book? Again, above plot hole. Again, Henry is needed to write it, and he didn’t touch it.
UNANSWERED QUESTIONS (COUNTS AS A DISLIKE)
So why did Hades not want the souls to move on then????
So I guess we are meant to assume that the rules of the Underworld can just keep ticking along without Hades. Cruella and the Blind Witch will be there to monitor, perhaps torture a soul or two and prevent others from crossing, but the rules of the Underworld…where do they come from?? Not from Hades, obviously. Perhaps from Zeus?
CONFUSIONS
-SO Hades CAN kill living people then? So why didn’t he kill the sailors himself? Is it because he couldn’t do much before his heart restarted (he was only able to activate the crystal after he his heart was restarted).

Yep. I agree with all of this.

Why didn’t he kill *anyone* himself if he’s totally capable? Do you really need a non-frozen heart to kill people? Wouldn’t a frozen heart actually make it easier?
If he could kill someone all along and it was so easy for him, why not just snap Emma or someone’s neck and be done with it.

More evidence that the dead heart meant that he couldn’t kill anyone himself.

*sigh* Yeah. That’s so just so weird. Cora didn’t have heart inside her body and look how many people she killed. Logic would dictate that not having your heart present would actually make killing easier because those pesky emotions don’t get in the way (since on this show, emotions are linked to your heart and not, say, chemicals in the brain)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 9, 2016 at 9:15 am #323115AKAParticipantThought the episode was awful. Very few likes and lots of dislikes
Like:
Zelena chooses Regina over Hades
The Zelena/Regina moments were nice
Robin’s funeral was very well done, I liked the arrows
Disliked:
Everything else but will rant about the things I hated most
PREDICTABLE: The whole episode was Predictable yes Robin is the one who died and yes Hook is the one who was saved. So Once thought it was better to save a pirate who killed who knows how many people and kill a father of two. How is that hopeful?
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: No Snow you are not right and Yes Rumple you are, this is all Emma’s fault. She needs to take responsibility for Robin’s death and Belle’s sleeping curse. I guess this makes Hook and Emma the perfect couple because Hook NEVER takes personal responsibility. It is why I dislike his character so much. I hated that Emma forgot that she is the cause of Robin’s death and starts making out with Hook in front of the casket. Poorly done.
Henry: He doesn’t know if Belle is back or not but you know we hope so. What happened to Belle and Henry’s relationship that he suddenly doesn’t care if she is back from the underworld?
Maurice: Pretty sure TLK wouldn’t work anyway because talk about selfish. He isn’t even going to try and save his daughter and grandchild from a burning room? Why,because he doesn’t like her husband?
Rumple: OK Rumple I love you, but how about explaining to Moe why he should wake his daughter up instead of trying to scare him into doing it? Also I hope to heaven above they are not going back to Season 4 Rumple.
