I felt sorry for this orphan episode, so I thought I’d see if we can get some discussion going. This is a pretty important episode since it brings two major pairs together: Snow and James and Mary Margaret and Emma. So even though there’s no Rumple/Gold scene (ahem!) “Snow Falls” merits discussion.

What were your favorite moments, and with which moments do you have a bone to pick?

My favorite bits: Snow and James’ meet-cute. Snow literally falls for James, yet she retains her independence and fiestiness. And we have the introduction of the Snow/James vow “I will always find you,” which many of us hope will prove true for all the lovers as the series progresses. There’s the situation that Regina says is the worst curse of all, not having anyone–but we know that love is stronger than any curse, so we can continue to hope that the lovers will overcome all challenges. This episode also reminds us that there are many forms of love, so for those who don’t have a romantic relationship, love is still attainable, whether it’s the love of a parent and child or the love of friends. (I think the friendship between MM and Emma is just about the best relationship of the series.)

I really love Snow Falls. It is still one of my favorite episodes. It was sort of the episode where i was all in with the series. Great dialogue in this one. And the beginnings of really letting us see some of the complication of what is happening in fairytale land like how did this Snow get to where she was in the pilot, living in a castle and all that.

And this was probably one of the better written episodes. None of the issues that a lot of the episodes seem to have where people are just doing things that don’t make a lot of sense. And i liked both the fairytale parts and the real world parts which is not always the case.

Oh, I love this episode. Snow has been my favourite character ever since. One of my favourite moments is her saying “Well, I wouldn’t want to keep you away from true love.” and of course the “nag with the bad attitude”. 😆
Not to mention one of my favourite lines is from this episode:
Emma Swan: “Where’s your mom? She’s going to kill me, then you, then me again.”

Like hjbau said, this is the last episode that sets the series for the episodes to come and we finally get a picture of the complications that are there. I liked that. Hm, can’t remember anything I particularly disliked here.

Two of my favorite scenes are when James traps Snow in the net and demands the ring back and she finishes for the ‘nag with the bad attitude?’ the second is before they part ways at the end of the episode, the expression on his face when she puts on the ring (very impulsively) and he’s like 😯 and she called him ‘James’ finally.

my least favorite favorite was the trolls on the troll bridge. sorry, but they were silly.

Haha, right, forgot those trolls. They did look weird. I liked how Charming stepped on one of the bugs, though. 🙂 Oh yes, Snow trying on the ring was also a sweet scene.
