It’s not so much that it was a snappy line, but when Rumple told Emma she was just a “bail bondsperson” it sort of made me grin, because it makes it sound a bit like she’s a person bonded to Bael, which could just be a coincidence or perhaps a pun from the writers. Either way, I smiled.

Rumple’s speech to Emma while cruel was done in such of way were Rumple had so much POWER AND COMMANDING PRESENCE! That’s why he’s the Dark One.

I LOVE that Neal is the one to bring the “growing up in the real world” sort of levity to the show. I know Emma has sort of had comments about it, but it makes me wonder if he actually started watching “fairy tale” movies because it reminded him of home!

(^___^ Thanks for the welcome back. I had a super busy summer but also wanted to steer clear of accidental spoilers etc, but I’m glad to be back around and hopping into the discussion again! Also- I’m glad it wasn’t just me that was having trouble with the forums. Thought my computer or internet was letting me down…)
Back on topic- another one that made me smile was how Tamara and Greg told Henry they “don’t ask questions”, which seems foolhardy at best, but soon after we see Peter (in disguise) telling Henry “there’s no time for questions”, using the same tactic to keep him off his guard and discovering the truth. A nice little bit of foreshadowing!

😆 It’s not just you thinking that! Both times I’ve watched it, it’s struck me how Rumple splits the word in two with a definite pause in the middle, and the way he pronounces “bail” totally sounds like “Bael”. Guess I’m just hearing it with shipper headphones, but all I hear is, “You’re a Bael bonds person.” 😉
