This is the last show for the season so I wanted to carry on the tradition …. I thought it might be nice to have a ongoing topic so I am planning to post his topic in all of the future episodes. We can post our answers after we see the episode…..

1) Snow trying to smash the bluebird.
2) Snow’s intervention with the dwarves
3) The whole scene with Charming and Snow and the bow and arrow.
4) Emma telling Mary Margaret that she is not her mother.
5) Red is the wolf!!
6) Any Rumple scene when he giggles.
7) Belle extracting some humanity out of Rumple, even it if was just for a moment or two.
8) Snow and Charming meeting in Snow falls. Snow says, “is this the only way you can catch a woman?”
9) Everytime Snow calls James Charming from the moment he got the nickname to every usage and to every single reference either in FTL or Storybrooke.
10) The opening scene: when Charming kisses Snow in the glass coffin with all 7 dwarves witnessing her revival.
Least favorite:
1) Dwarves hatching out of eggs.
2) Stealthy….really???!!!
3) Grumpy was originally Dreamy….come on!!
4) Nova being that dumb, ditsy and clumsy…..at little overplayed and exagerated. It it were done in moderation it would have been more fun to watch.
5) Jiminy aging but his parents looking the same age.
6) Gaston. I do not like the character even in the Disney cartoon but this portrayal makes him seem more of a dope.
7) The Fairy Tale side of Grumpy’s backstory. It was nice to find out his deal. it was also nice to see him and Nova being love interest but they could have taken the corny out of it. I liked the Storybrooke side a lot better.
8) What I said about Grumpy’s backstory goes for Jiminy’s backstory. I hope all of the other dwarves backstory are not going to be corny and please no Stealthy backstory.April 14, 2012 at 5:51 am #142159fairytaleprincessParticipantOMG, I forgot about the smacking of the bluebird and that scene made me laugh for days!!! Oh man Nonnie, you have me laughing now!

I wish I liked it better :/ I did notice that the sword was supposed to mirror when her dad threw it at Regina, flying straight but that was stupid and unbelievable the first time! Boo.
Best: Emma and Henry. She made me tear up right before she kissed Henry. That was very well acted. 🙂 I’d say the Rumbelle moment but we really didn’t get MUCH. I want more there. And seriously if he’s going to turn into the dark one again and he doesn’t want to loose his powers he should’ve kissed her before changing! 😆 The Snow/Charming moment in the street was perfect though. THAT was a great reunion!
May 14, 2012 at 3:57 pm #146703miaParticipantOk, great finale moments (no particular order):
Emma (to Pin/August): “I can’t do this alone. I just talked to the Evil Queen and Rumpelstilskin about a quest to find magic.”
^– hearing Emma say that was just brilliant!!Regina (to Emma): “Actually, he goes by Rumpelstilskin.”
^– made me laugh so hard! Emma’s face, lol.Charming&Snow walking beside the lake, kissing:
Charming stops: “What?”
Snow: “There’s the little matter of your father and my step-mother …”
Charming: “Yes.”
^– the way they said and acted that was just sooo “normal”, could’ve been anyone in the modern world with a complicated family. The moment where Emma goes all Hulk over Regina and says “It’s all true, isn’t it?” and Regina just answers with a “Yes.” <3 That whole seen was great.
Not a scene per se, but when my friend and I realised that Maleficent as a dragon would be what Emma needed to go after. My friends comment: “They got a dragon in the basement …”
I tore up after that and had to pause the ep, lol.No particular moment that I didn’t like. I am sad that we didn’t get to see an Emma, MM and David moment. There’s hope for season 2.
May 14, 2012 at 4:55 pm #146723SlurpeezParticipantFavorite moments from the finale: Emma finally believes in magic! Emma says, “I love you, Henry,” kisses him on the forehead, and the curse breaks. Rumple and Belle declare their love for each other. David and MM remember they’re PC and SW in SB. Regina gets beaten up by Emma.
Least favorite moment from the finale: Regina’s smirk at the finale, even though I do like the twist.

Also Emma kissing Henry and waking him up, Charming with the dragon, and actually Regina saying she loved Henry too. I finally believed her. Oh, and kudos to Mr. Jefferson for getting my favorite couple back together.
Least: The fact there was no Jefferson andf Grace reunion and that they killed off Maleficent (wasted such a good villain)
May 14, 2012 at 6:28 pm #146749SnickerdoodleParticipant“Do my eyes deceive me or is that the look of a believer…” definitely my favorite line tonight.
There was very little not to like.
Loved Prince Charming and the scenes with Rumpel…
Cried, cried, cried when Henry “died”, Jen Morrison did a great job acting that out.
Loved the twists — Jefferson releasing Belle, the magic coming to SB…
I really liked the whole episode. So, when I say my least favorite part was probably Emma facing the dragon, that’s not saying much, because in spite of what I disliked, I still liked it. 😀
I was glad for Rumpel to know about Belle. Just wish he would have kissed her before dropping that vial in the well.May 14, 2012 at 7:15 pm #146764elleParticipantIt is really hard for me to find anything that I didn’t like about the episode. From start to finish, it was a true adventure, a romance, and a tragedy with twists and turns at every angle.
If there has to be something that I didn’t like, it would be that the episode felt rushed, although that is more of a nitpick. Plus, the writers had so much to fit in in just one hour. Also, the scene where Emma remembers did annoy. I would’ve liked it to have been something different–the scene felt too rushed and short. But I am happy that she finally believes
My favorite scenes (in no particuluar order):
1). The Charming and Rumpelstiltskin fight/conversation. The fight was well done. I had never thought Rumpelstiltskin to be a good fighter with a sword, and of course Charming did well to hold his own. The conversation afterwards showed how both the characters were alike–both knew of true love, and both were affected by that love.
2). The fight between Regina and Emma. I love how they both are very similar, yet so different. They both love Henry, but the actions of that love is what sets them apart.
3). Jefferson frees Belle. I figured Jefferson and Belle would share a scene. I never thought Belle would actually be freed, and that was a pleasent surprise. By only complaint is that it is never established on how Jefferson knew about Belle or where to find her.
4). Curse is broken and everyone remembers. This scene astounded me because there was no dialogue present. No one said anything in this short little part–it was all in the expressions. The actors of Once Upon a Time show how well they can convey the shock and confusion that many of the characters experience.
5). Snow and Charming reunion scene. I knew this was going to happen. I knew they would reunite, and it wasso sweet to how it played out. I could literally feel the love between this couple, and the music was spot on.
6). Belle and Rumpelstiltskin scenes. They only had two scenes, but both were sweet and very in-character. I love how Mr. Gold looked the first time he saw Belle–shocked, in pain, in love, and unable to comprehend. He couldn’t believe at first that she was alive. He thought her to be a dream. And then Belle said that was told he would protect her–I can tell that he means to do just that. Lastly, when they confess their love for each other, that scene truly made it for me. -
