I could definitely see the birthday party scene being a dream- Gold dreams that he tries to hurt Henry and then wakes up in a panic and realizes how much he needs Belle back to keep him from slipping into Dark One mode.

Rumple might have fallen asleep at his desk in his office at the back of the shop.

Hopefully we might find out Mr Gold’s Storybrooke first name in this episode as he introduces himself to Lacey.

Hmm. Interesting. I never thought about his first name. Honestly didn’t think Gold had one, a sort of play on Rumplestiltskin’s original myth.

I’m sure the writers said we’d be finding out Charming’s and Gold’s real names this season. Obviously we found out Charming’s so it’s just Gold’s name left now. It will be weird to know Gold’s first name even though just knowing him as Mr Gold kind of suits him.

What it would be? Their names are also so tied to who they really are, in the EF. “Gold” obviously fits Rumple but his first name…..how do you play on “Rumplestiltskin”???

There was a discussion a while back on what Gold’s first name could be. Either it’s going to be something really silly which is why he likes to be known as Mr Gold or perhaps something like Damien because its association with The Omen and Rumple being “The Dark One”.

Damien Gold. I like that a lot. Lucian might be another (a play on Lucifer).

Watch it be Bob or George. Something really un-unique.

I think they’ve managed to avoid repeating names so far on this show. If the trend continues then we know Gold’s name won’t be David, George, Graham, Neal, James, Moe, Leroy, Killian etc

I want it to be a darker name, something slightly sexy.
