It could go either way, though I honestly don’t buy that just because mermaids exist in Neverland that it means Ariel must live there. I kinda don’t want The Little Mermaid to crossover with Peter Pan, in all honesty. Neverland should remain its own thing dedicated to Peter Pan, while The Little Mermaid would make more sense in the realm dedicated to fairy tales (The Enchanted Forest). I disagree, because the whole show is a cross over. I remember an interview in Entertainment Weekly that was done with Adam and Eddy in Disneyland. They talked about how it was fun to have the different characters and lands in the park, that it appealed to that childlike wonder we all have. They mentioned playing with GI Joes against Darth Vadar as an example of that creativity as a child. I love that concept, and want to see what else they can combine in a way that still sort of makes sense within the Once Upon a Time universe they have created.

So having Ariel play into Neverland is no crazier than having the Evil Queen’s mother be the Queen of Hearts, or having Rumpelstilskin be the crocodile that took Hook’s hand.

I also liked the suggestion someone had that Gold’s name would be Saul Ed Gold.

I can’t believe we are going to learn Mr. Gold’s name. Maybe he gets to make up his own first name. If it was a weird, embarrassing name, then I suspect Regina would have trotted it out long before this. I think it will be a very unique name. Now can we go back to talking about his pajamas? I’m loving the black with gold trim myself!

I think you are right, it is a dream sequence. Looking carefully at the birthday party stills, Mr. Gold does NOT have his cane in his hand in any of the shots. In the Belle dream sequence back when she dreams about Gold giving her a necklace, then kisses him and Grumpy comes into the shop (I think it was “The Crocodile”), if you look closely, Gold never has his cane in his hand then either.

^Excellent point! The sign of the cane is normally an indication of real or not real. If we get this scene as a sneak peak, his limp is also a sign.

These kind of tweets are completely ridiculous. You can’t possibly make assumptions based on promotional photos – there is very little context to make an astute judgement. Honestly, this type of crazy, disrespectful fandom makes me very ashamed of some Oncers. (Thank god nobody in this forum, because everyone here engages in intelligent debate, we ask good, relevant questions, and above all treat each other and the actors/writers/creators, etc with courtesy and respect).

Adam is taking the time to answer our questions, and always with such kind civility.

Sorry for the soapbox, this kind of thing really, really bothers me, and I see it all the time – and not just directed at Adam and Eddy.
