There wasn’t a canadian promo. They’ve not really done a proper promo for this episode yet.

The birthday scene being a dream is all a theory at this point. However, let’s assume it is a dream. Who is dreaming this dream? This dream lacks two important people, Belle and Regina.

The people who could possibly be dreaming this dream and are included in it are:

Rumple
Bae/Neal
Henry
Emma
Charming
Snow

I think Rumple and Henry are ruled out because of the lack of Belle and Regina in the dream respectively.

Charming and Snow know Belle is Rumple’s true love, so why would they dream a happy family occasion without her? This rules them out in my opinion.

That just leaves Emma and Bae. Again Emma knows Belle is Rumple’s “girlfriend”, why dream a happily family occasion without her?

Bae has not met Belle, therefore his subconcious cannot dream up an image of Belle and most likely makes him the dreamer.

I think if it was Regina’s dream, she would have included herself in the celebrations and probably had Henry hugging her and what not. Because Regina is not included in the scene at all makes me think Regina is not the dreamer.

Remember Regina dream about being tied to a tree just before the curse was broken maybe that is why she isn’t there?

It could be more like a nightmare for Regina seeing Henry happy with his family without her. That’s one of her biggest fears right now

Possibly, though this is a Rumbelle episode so I don’t know whether Regina will figure into it much, especially as the episode after is a Regina episode.

I think “filler” depends on your definition of filler. To me, filler is when they focus on characters not in the core cast and who serve more as background characters to the larger roles. In that case, Rumple and Belle are NOT filler. (Note: I am a die hard Rumbeller and Rumple fan and am dying a slow death until this episode airs). Also, it’s going to–hopefully–tie up the memories saga with Belle which has been on going since episode 11.
Regina will be in it, I have no doubt, but episode 20 is a Snow/Regina episode so she may not be in 19 a whole lot.

Looks like ABC might start promoting Lacey a little bit. They just posted a pic on FB from this episode of Rumple and Belle in the bar and asked that we “like” the pic if we though Rumple and Belle belong together. To which I began speaking incoherently and trying to hug the picture through my computer….

You guys also have to acknowledge the lack of Tamara in that birthday scene. I don’t think it is a dream

Neil will eventually catch on to Tamara and what she is doing. By the middle of 2×19 or in 2×20 it wouldn’t surprise me if Rumple & Neil both figure out what she’s up to because I think that would set up for 2×21 & 2×22
