Oh those pics of Rumple, Bae and Henry playing…my heart can’t handle this.
I wonder what story Emma is looking at. We know this is the big Rumbelle episode, but isn’t it also when we met Robin Hood?[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 7, 2013 at 1:01 am #177746SlurpeezParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:

I wonder what story Emma is looking at. We know this is the big Rumbelle episode, but isn’t it also when we met Robin Hood?Great idea! Robin Hood in SB being read about in a storybook.
Here is the description of the scene(s). The first was of the Cassady boys playing with the swords. The latter was of Regina and Emma sitting chatting on a bench on the pier, and Emma had the SB.
Last week I made the trek out to Steveston to see the ABC hit fantasy show”Once Upon A Time” do a bit of filming.
Since the last time I saw them, in downtown Vancouver a month or so ago, some big reveals have happened…mainly that Neal/Baelfire is Henry’s father, and that Rumplestiltskin/Mr.Gold is his father, making Henry’s Golds grandson…. and you thought YOUR family had issues.
This particular day I saw 2 scenes being shot.
The 1st had Robert Carlyle (Gold) & Lana Parrilla (Regina) walking along a path thru a fence in the background as Jared Gilmore (Henry) had a little play battle with wooden swords with his newfound dad Michael Raymond-James (Neal). So it looks like the Gold-Cassidy-Swan-Mills family is seemingly doing fine… although, no Emma hanging around during the boys playtime. Is there a rift between her & Henry after he found out she lied to him? Or is this simply some father/son bonding time as his grandpa & adopted mom chat in the background? Only time will tell. There was a lot of playing around leading up to the scene, which was shot in 3 or 4 parts. In a couple takes Jared clipped Michael on his hand with the wooden swords hard enough that he went running away shaking off the hit.
Later in the day, they moved over to a pier, where they did a scene with Lana Parrilla & Jennifer Morrison (Emma) sitting on a bench, as Emma was holding the fairytale book of Henry’s.
I also took a few photos of the prop carps & signs, most notably for me, the 1983 computer ad on a bus stop. A left over from when they filmed the flashback episode that is coming up soon…or were they doing another flashback scene in this episode?
So here is the photos from that day. Enjoy. This episode will be #19 of season 2.

If what happens in The Millers Daughter is that Cora dies by Snow's hand then why on earth is she chummy with the “good” guys? We know the Evil Queen is supposed to come back in a different way, so this is…odd.

Yes, it would be interesting to see Regina coming to terms with sharing custody of Henry with Emma and Neal. It’s indeed odd that Regina and Emma would be casually chatting after what seems to be an epic showdown in The Miller’s Daughter. I believe this is another candid shot of Emma and Regina’s meeting on the pier, which I mistakenly posted in 2×18 thread. But after reading this scene’s description, I believe the photo belongs here:

March 7, 2013 at 1:10 am #177750RumplesGirlKeymasterI’ve seen the theory floating around that if Snow kills Cora, she might become as evil as Cora and become a very Dark Snow. Snow, of course, is also a Queen. So maybe you’re right and Regina isn’t doing to go all Dark on everyone after Miller’s Daughter. However, I find it difficult to believe that 3 (?) episodes after Miller’s Daughter, Regina has accepted that Emma will have custody of Henry (and with Neal in the picture that makes it 2 parents to contend with, not to mention Grandpastiltskin, be he the Dark One or not post Miller’s Daughter). Maybe she’s playing Emma/Neal?

Maybe. Regina can be very crafty. Yet, perhaps she really is attempting to smooth things over with Neal and Emma, because something traumatic, like her mother’s death at the hands of Snow White, actually makes her realize that evil is not the path. It’d be an incredible twist if Snow is now the evil queen! The scene between Regina and Snow in The Queen is Dead was very interesting when Regina said “I am good.” She then blamed Snow for adding the word “evil” to her name, and Snow objected that good doesn’t do what Regina does. Maybe the writers are going to flip the characters on their heads so that Regina continues to recover goodness as Snow spirals into darkness. I don’t want to see Snow go all sorts of crazy like Cora, but it’d be interesting to see her struggle with what it means to hold onto goodness in her heart when real life presents shades of grey. That would also help to explain why Charming and Snow are absent. Maybe Charming is trying remedy Snow’s downward spiral.
I wonder if Rumple has decided to move past his initial reaction to want to throttle Henry and turn Baelfire back into a 14-year-old. Perhaps Rumple is no longer the dark one after his brush with death in 2×18. Or, if he still is the dark one, maybe he’s becoming a better man by trying to win back Belle.

March 7, 2013 at 1:24 am #177754RumplesGirlKeymasterI would love to see a reverse. That’s what this show is about: turning the stories you think you know on their heads. And having the EQ suddenly be Good and having Snow White be an Evil Queen…too good to pass up in my opinion.
I don’t think Rumple will be the Dark One after Millers’ Daughter. But that does beg the question, where does that magic go? Does it have to go somewhere? And will Rumple be completely devoid of magic? Other people who aren’t magical can do things, like Hook could take a heart which previously we’ve only seen those who learned magic do (Rumple, Regina, and Cora). And will Rumple get magic back? Because in the pics it looks like things are going OK for Bae and Papa, but if he suddenly make the decision to get his magic back (it is his crutch after all) that could be the big game changer between Bae and Rumple leading into the end of the season.

I agree. It’s just too juicy an opportunity to pass up. I really hope the writers take the show in that direction for S3, because that would be interesting and potentially up viewership. (Along with Neal taking his family to Neverland).

Yes, that would be an interesting game changer.

March 7, 2013 at 2:46 am #177771RumplesGirlKeymasterI’ve been pondering this for awhile now and here’s what I’ve come up with. I think we are going to see Emma and Regina come to and understanding because neither one of them is on good terms with Henry. Henry likes heroes and becomes quite harsh when they disappoint him. I think Henry is going to become very attached to Bae. He sees Bae as a great hero from his storybook, even if Bae isn’t in it. Bae’s from FTL and he can steer a pirate ship and he’s been to far off lands. Henry has a tendency to idol worship and right now Emma’s not his favorite person. Emma now understands what it’s like to be Regina and I think that’s what is going to bring them together. Until, because I think Emma is right, NealFire does let him down. At some point, Neal will do something that shatters Henry’s concept of him. Poor kid.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 7, 2013 at 6:42 am #177838PheeParticipantEvil Queen Snow would be a really cool twist! Didn’t Lana suggest we’d be getting more Evil Regina though? Unless we’ll just be seeing more of her in flashback? If Regina’s hanging out with Rumple, going for a stroll with him in SB, and then she’s also chit chatting with Emma, she can’t be acting all diabolical. And they did say at Paley that they have free reign to make Snow as dark as they want. Hmmm.
Regarding Emma having the book, I wonder if maybe something that happens with August in the previous ep triggers her going back to the book?
