I believe he did grow up. Peter had the ability to come and go from Neverland. I believe he came, saw Emma and stayed. Similar to what happened with Moria in Hook. I’ve posted about this, on another thread, and won’t get into it here again. However, one thing is standing out crystal clear for me. In the story, Peter gets Wendy so she can be a mother to the Lost Boys. Bae lost his mother and to Hook no less. Makes absolute sense that he tries to replace her. Or he tries to avenge her. There are just too many connections to Bae’s story and Peter Pan’s story.

Man, this season keeps continuing to blow me away!

Right after the beanhole incident, I convinced myself that Bae was totally gonna become Peter Pan. Then I wondered if they’d make him Peter Pan AND Henry’s father, or would that be overkill? But now seeing little Bae in photos with big, bag, smug Killian partying with his mother, that would certainly be the perfect setup for the future Peter/Hook grudge story.

How about…Bae went down the beanhole to Neverland. Maybe his mother was still there, if she’d run off with Killian, so the bean sent him to where his mother was because his father was no good for him. Then Rumple, in his search for Bae, discovers that he’d gone to Neverland, so finds a way there. Once he arrives, he discovers that Bae/Peter has since left, (remaining in our world where he grew up and hooked up with Emma for baby making), but Killian is still there. Rumple’s not in a good mood, being that he’d hoped to find his son and instead finds the man who stole his wife, and during one of their altercations, Killian loses a hand and thereafter becomes Hook. Then Rumple returns to FTL and goes back to square one, trying to find a way to the world Bae/Peter went to when he left Neverland, which ultimately leads him to our world.

As I posted in another thread, is Red befriending Belle out of genuine friendship or is she doing it so that the side of good has a way to keep an eye on Rumple? All anyone would know of Belle is that she is Rumple’s girlfriend and, considering Rumple’s reputation, they wouldn’t really trust her. Perhaps this could be what leads to a darker Belle, if she thinks the only person she can trust is Rumple.

Yeah I’m wondering about that too. Obviously, if Belle was gonna have any girlfriends, Red is a good candidate, simply because they’re similar in age. But given that Red is VP of Team Charming now that Snow’s not around, it’d be sort of odd if she was all buddy buddy with the girlfriend of the enemy, so I doubt this would be a straightforward friendship.

GAH! These photos! I can’t wait to see this episode. Rumpel’s episode have always been some of my favorite episodes.

haha I am SO glad someone commented on sweaty, near shirtless charming working hard in the mines… 😆 I saw that picture on page 3 (or 4) and have been dreaming about it ever since. I hope that scene lasts more than a couple seconds 😀

Anyway, Phee I really liked your interpretation of the Peter Pan story with Bae and Rumple. We know Rumple meets Hook twice.. once when he steals his wife and then later when he is the dark one. I will still be disappointed if Peter grows up, though I know that is most likely what will happen… but I cant be the only one that hopes he just soars in from the sky with Tink at his side!

Either way, i hope we get a good look at Neverland next week. Or maybe this story happens before Hook goes to Neverland. Maybe, as a punishment for taking his wife, Rumple banishes or casts him away to Neverland so he may never see her again. Perhaps after he becomes the dark one he attempts to take her back and when she refuses he uses his powers to put Hook somewhere she will never see him again.

So it seems like Rumple is definitely the Crocodile. In the promo we saw he is being taunted pre dark one Rumple by Hook about never having been ‘in a duel’. It looks like they meet up again post dark one where we KNOW Rumple knows how to use a sword/knife, ie: killing the soldiers that wanted to take Bae, the sword fight with Charming…..So I think Hook looses his hand in the second meeting.

Also, I’m not totally convinced that Bae is Peter Pan anymore. Something that struck me, when Rumple was trying to get Regina to get rid of her mother he said something about sending her to a silly little land he had no use for. I think he meant for her to go to Wonderland. If that’s true, and its just my theory, he would have no reason to think to look for Bae there.Since I think the mystery man and Bae are one and the same and The Mystery Man strikes me as being The White Rabbit…. I’m leaning towards that theory.

Wow- Hook is looking mighty fine for an old man then 😆 😉 . Since we know now that he knows Rumple pre-darkone, that makes him at least a couple of hundred yrs old & one of few super oldies that we know of (Rumple & Blue Fairy are the only other extremely long lived characters we know about). I didn’t really click about that until just now- but he must a decent grasp of what’s what having lived as long as he has… surely???
If he gets played by Cora- wont that just make him a 200yr old idiot? 🙁

Ok anyhoo, great stills! I love seeing Rumpel before he became the Dark One. He looks so humble and harmless. I’d love for him to return that same humble man by the end of the series.

And I’m praying to God that Belle and Red become friends. Belle and Red are my two favorite female characters (along with Mary Margaret and Regina), so seeing them develop a relationship would be making all my dreams come true. 😀

And DUDE. Mrs. Rumpel is really pretty. Lucky Rumpel….oh and I guess lucky Hook too. 😆 I agree that Mihla is looking mighty chummy with Hook and his mates, so I doubt she had to be kidnapped. But I’ll wait to see the episode before judging her too harshly. I’m usually not very judgemental about those kinds of things. My favorite characters are Rumpel and Regina for God’s sake. 😆 But I do feel bad for Bae. If his mother really did leave him for Hook, then that means that he lost both parents because of their own selfish desires. Poor thing. 😥
