It’s sad and funny at the same time that Gepetto is actually looking for a kid with that hat. Not that Pin is a kid – how should he know – but paint the hat on the poster as well! Seriously?!

I know the fact that he drew the hat on the poster seems funny to me. And why would he think Pinocchio is still a kid. And Henry should just tell him, he knows who Pinocchio is.

There seem to be a couple shots of ‘play fighting’ between Whale and Henry: just the actors playing around??? Jared’s clutching the prop book in most of them…
I was speculating in another thread just before about how we’ve heard nothing about the casting for Prince Phillip, but apparently he’s gonna be in ep 1, and could Dr Whale possibly be him. Seeing David Anders in these photos, hanging out with all the good guys, that suggests that he’s someone they knew as a good guy in FTL. So now I’m wondering if the Whale/Phillip theory is as farfetched as I originally thought.

Well it’s not like he or anyone else in town has any other visual frame of reference as far as Pinocchio is concerned, so what else would he put on the poster? Also, if he’s even bothering to put up posters, that means he’s entertaining the idea that Pinocchio is in Storybrooke, so the rules that applied to Emma ageing, he’s obviously not thinking that Pinocchio grew up in the same way. Emma doesn’t appear to be in these scenes, but I’d expect that Henry would tell him about August when he sees him holding those signs.
He’s probably still looking for a ginger kid, too. Is that why nothing with August knowing how to fix a clock clicked when memories returned?
Seemed strange to me as well. Well, he must be confused after all thy all just “woke up” … It’s kind of hilarious how we’re already theorizing, speculating, etc. even though just the first few days of filming began and a few photos are up. 😆
But because Emma grew up and she went through the wardrobe, it stands to reason that Pinocchio would also have grown up. Unless Geppetto is still trying to keep it a secret that he lied about the wardrobe.
About Dr. Whale being Prince Phillip. Why would they have a casting call if they already had the actor that was going to play him? That doesn’t make sense to me.
Since Henry knows who August is, hopefully he will direct Gepetto to the Inn…I can’t see Gepetto being that conniving after ‘waking up’. Maybe it just hasn’t clicked that he’s missed 28 years of his son’s life yet…
One screen shot was a close-up of the Heritage Center Seal: which they are standing outside of. Could this be a center for Fairytale characters to meet up with their loved ones? Possibly why Gepetto is there with flyers? Whale could be waiting for someone then…@mia wrote:

I know, but I wonder if it’s because he’s still wooden or if it’s like a theory I just read that he’s still not being a good boy and is hiding out because of the fallout that’s going to happen when Snow and Charming realize that Marco sent him through with Emma. It’s probably that he’s still wooden though.

While I could see August hiding out, I don’t think Marco/Gepetto is that cunning because he still seems to be sort of confused as to everything that’s going on around since he’s still calling himself his Storybrooke name instead of his real name.

lol, they should just have Bae come back as a ginger before Gepetto finds out about August that way he’ll be even more confused to what’s going on.

Yes, I thought he was someone good before in FTL (although my theory is that he’s Prince Eric), but hopefully these pictures confirm that.
