I agree. I’ve read a couple spoilers that Emma’s magic will come into play in the S2 finale and in S3. What if Emma’s magic is powerful enough to override Regina’s magical failsafe? 💡 😮 We know the self-destruct button will get triggered, but we don’t know for sure whether it will successfully wipe SB off of the map.
😯 😯 😮 Love. Maybe she SENDS everyone else to the EF.

I cannot give you the exact comment but A and E have said that they wouldn’t show us a bomb and not have it go off. Slurpeez, you have that comment handy?

Sorry to answer on behalf of RG, but I think you meant this one, right?

Got the new Entertainment Weekly yesterday and there was a tiny blurb on the Once finale in their Must Watch section. I don’t have the quote in front of me, but they spoiled that the fail safe will be used/detonated.Well, all that spoiler confirms is that the failsafe will be used/detonated. It’s doesn’t say anything about whether SB will actually disappear. Greg and Tamara set off the self-destruct button, but Emma might just be powerful enough to reverse the failsafe, even after it’s been activated.

May 6, 2013 at 3:30 am #191346SlurpeezParticipantHere‘s the spoiler about Emma using more of her magic:
TV Guide Magazine: With Neverland coming into play, is there a possibility for Emma to capture some of her lost childhood?
Kitsis: The interesting thing is, [Neverland] is about belief and lost youth. And now that Emma is back with her parents, you have a group of people who will never get back the time they lost — including Mr. Gold, who lost a long time with his son [Baelfire]. And a hint for Season 3 is that Emma’s job with magic is far from done.Emma’s Magic
Eddy said, “We’re definitely going to explore the magic inside [Emma]. There’s still a part of Emma that is still reeling from all this. I don’t think she cares for it. [This last episode] was the first time she started to question it.” He then added, “Last year was about believing. Now she believes, but it’s not what she kind of really wanted.” He further noted, “At the same time, she really embraced being a mother this year. She’s really put Henry (Jared Gilmore) first and she’s really coming to grips with it and when Henry said he would like to go back to [the Fairytale Land] is really had an effect on her.” Also what they find interesting about Emma was at first she was just a pawn as the savior and once that was done, she didn’t have a role to play and she had to come to grips with that. Then Neal returned and all these emotions came flooding back. That will set up in the finale and Emma will discovery she has a new purpose — and she’ll have to commit one way or the other. Here’s the spoiler about the bomb going off:
“We are definitely going to see what that black diamond does because you can’t show a bomb and not have it go off,” Kitsis teases.
