As for the fake clues….red herrings from Jane Espenson? Never! I kid, I kid…but she does love to throw them in from time to time. Otherwise all the hardcore fans would know everything way in advance! And we know much more than we should I’m sure. However it does lead to other fun theories since sometimes it mentions places we haven’t seen or stories we didn’t think would be included and it takes us off an a new tangent so that when we see somebody else who might fit the bill we already have those gears turning about how it might fit into it (similar to the he is Frankenstein or the Wizard debate – red herrings galore for the Wizard but it got us thinking about how the Wizard might fit in later on and left it to that nice reveal at the end for Frankenstein.)
Red Herrings? LOL! Bold face lies I tell ya! I swear she should have played Pinocchio! 😆

Yes, it’s getting a bit much. ABC is really ruining it. TMI!
Grats RumplesGirl on getting it right! I’m sure it won’t be your last 🙂
Just had to keep that one in because she really did have great insight as to why the chose to portray Young Prince Charles SO TALL and confident. Great insight!!!!

The shop is in Storybrooke, and in Storybrooke there is magic. Why didn’t Rumple just use it to heal?

That’s….a fantastic question. Maybe he’s too far gone at that point and the only way to save him is with the candle? That is a pretty big plot hole, but it’s Jane Espenson so I’m hoping she’ll give some explanation.

Perhaps it is the same incurable poison that Cora used to poison Eva, and it can’t be cured with conventional magic. The candle could really be the only way to save him.

I like it. It’s great. Perfect parallel especially if the candle is going to make a reappearance. Snow faces the same choice but makes a different decision.

Yes, I think that is what will happen. It is great symmetry.

March 10, 2013 at 9:07 pm #178757RumplesGirlKeymasterSeems like everyone is hoping on the “live tweet” bandwagon. Charming, Snow, Belle, Jane Espenson, Red are all live tweeting during the broadcast. Some West Coast, Some East Coast.
If you’re like me and you get their tweets sent directly to your phone, prepare for explosions.
I may toss my phone across the room and read their tweets after the airing. 😆"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
