Yeah, I agree with Slurpeez. I don’t think Rumple is worried about the “undoing” anymore. I think he’s accepted that he’s going to die and the final acts of his life is vengeance. He wants to hurt those who hurt Bae and Henry. And if he dies in the process, then so be it. It is about rescuing Henry on some level, but it’s more about avenging his son. Which is the “undoing” is going to be a bit of a surprise for him when he realizes it’s probably not death.

Precisely. As I posted earlier, both Eddy Kitsis and Robert Carlyle have both confirmed that not only is Mr. Gold going after PP, but his mission is to save Henry as a way to honor his son (whom he believes is dead). I agree with you, RG, that it’ll likely come as a shock whenever Mr. Gold discovers that his “undoing” may not be his demise, but rather, the undoing of his dark one curse, changing him back into his human self.

*crosses arms and taps foot in indignation* It better not be his death. 👿 Ratings would plummet, fangirls would weep, tumblr would crash!
And poor Adam’s twitter account would not survive the aftermath. He thinks SwanQueeners are a trial, Dearies and Rumbellers would decimate him.

I for one would be inclined to give up the show entirely, maybe only checking in at the end of the series to find out what happened. It would be like when Matthew Crawley died on “Downton Abbey” in S3, and I vowed not to watch it after that.

As it is, I tend to not like the episodes that Robert Carlyle isn’t in. In season one, I could never put my finger on why certain episodes weren’t my favorite, until I realized the ones I didn’t care for didn’t have him in it, or only for a second. The only exception was “Snow Falls” which is one of my favorites.

July 28, 2013 at 1:38 pm #202516HappyEndingsSpectatorDo you think Hook, will tell Emma about what he did to Bae or to Bae’s mother? Since Hook apparently never touched the ground in NL, he will wouldn’t be much help in tracking down PP etc. Remember Tink has to come in here someplace also, as well as Emma and her magic.
Since Snow is better at tracking because of her pass experience in FL, she would be the best main leader in my opinion so I guess that means Rumble will become the beast looking like he did in FTL for NL as well huh?
Also, the Mermaid has to come in here also maybe to assist in finding Henry?

It could come up in conversation. I imagine if they ever have the chance to talk about Baelfire, then Hook would tell some of his history with Bae and Emma might share some about her relationship with Neal.

Well, we don’t know yet if Hook went after Baelfire or not, so it could be that he has set foot before on NL. Neither do we know yet how Bae managed to return to Earth or how Hook wound up again in NL. Maybe Tinkerbell’s magic allowed them to leave NL, or maybe PP let them come for some reason (e.g. PP knew Bae/Neal would be Henry’s father).

All of the Charmings are excellent at finding people. As a former bail bondswoman, Emma is really good at finding missing people, and we know David always finds Snow White. Also, Henry was really good at tracking down Emma in the pilot.

Hmmm, anything is possible in NL, so I suppose Mr. Gold could resemble cursed Rumple in NL, since magic is there. I also hope we get to see a glimpse of Ariel early on the quest to find Henry (and we most likely will before the midpoint in the season, since the first 11 episodes will focus in on NL, which is where Ariel lives).

Except Emma told Mary Margaret when they were looking for David, that she wasn’t good looking for people in the Woods. So that brings up another good point why would you keep two trackers Snow and David together vs the other 4 who can’t track?
So maybe it would wise to have David, Regina, and Hook on one team, and Rumble, Snow and Emma on the other.

1) One does not kill Robert Carlyle when RC has agreed to be on your show and is largely responsible for making it what it is.
2) I doubt Rumple will return to full on Dark One in NL present day. That’s asking a lot of RC.
3) I fully expect Hook and Emma to talk about Neal. I also expect that when that happens, it will flahsback to Hook trying to rescue Bae.
4) I think we will get glimpses of mermaids before Ariel makes her big appearance but I have to wonder if she’ll be bigger in part 2 of the season.

There were no actors on the set, but chairs for Lana, Jennifer and Colin were all there.
What do they have the name on the chairs and why would they?
As for turning back to his old self he gets paid pretty good to do this in fact he liked the old Rumble.
