Last year they filmed episode 2 before episode 1. If they are doing the same this year, then their current filming may be more Jolly Roger Heroes centric than Storybrooke centric at the moment.

Keeper of FelixFollowing the pattern from the previous two seasons, episode one will focus on each place to set up the rest of the season (at least the first half). And then each episode after will focus on one or two places (and characters) in both the present and the past. Since it is now the weekend, I don’t know if they are still filming, but there will be some serious filming next week and then of course after Comic Con when everything goes into overdrive to get the first 3 or 4 episodes ready for Sept.

So I guess everyone will be still referred to as their old SB names, like MM, and Mr Gold huh?
Emma will still call MM instead of mom too?
They will still be filming during the break, probably staring a month before the show returns to the air, after the Olympics. My best guess is filming begins late Januara/early February, with the show returning in March. ABC hasn’t put out details yet, but they should be coming very soon.
I do not if people will be referred to as their SB names or not. I rather hope not. I share in the annoyance on that front. I get that they are both, but I wish they’d go back to it.
As for Emma and Snow, again, I cannot say. Emma calling Snow “mom” was a very special moment, done in the heat of the moment when everyone thought they might die. So, it could be that she will call Snow “MM” again.

I think they’re going to keep whether Gold turns into Rumple under wraps, but maybe someone will ask it at Comic-Con and it will be answered. I’m dying to know, also. And if he did turn into Rumple and then comes back to Storybrooke would he still be Rumple since there’s magic here? Would he need to kiss Belle?
We’re all waiting for Belle to finally give Rumple the TLK to finally break his spell once and for good, but I would die of laughter if they come back and before the emotional moment Neal leans over and kisses his dad on the cheek and takes Belle’s thunder away from her. Oh my stars, the Rumbelle fandom would faint.

I would handle it being a combo of both Neil and Belle, so long as Belle is there.

I asked Once Upon A Time Scoop on Facebook if we would see a present day Rumple. Their reply back that they did not know the answer yet. To me that translate into he does not turn into Rumple on the JR. But like Adam and Eddy, they are always cryptic. The admins of this page are both from on set so they seem to be reliable resource for information. 🙂 I would love to see Mr. Gold become Rumple on the JR and see how Emma likes him then!!
Even if he did turn all Rumple-y again, I’d imagine he’d still be wearing the Mr Gold clothes. That would be interesting to see. Emma’s reaction would be priceless.
