Given this spoiler from TVLine many-a-week ago

So far, we know that Maguire will be appearing in season three for at least a four-episode arc and he is set to reaffirm his alliance with Belle’s Emilie De Ravin.

I think we might hypothsize that Belle makes her way to FTL from SB at some point and then she and Neal go together to NL.

@LovesCake in the chat just suggested that the “pole” is really the TRIDENT and it can open portals. Phee has made a similar suggestion in many other threads that this could be the case. And maybe the trident only take you from your present world to NL. It’s a one way.

So now, from a TV perspective it makes total sense for RH and Neal to interact if Tamara is the daughter of RH and Marian. Neal has to tell RH about the terrible things Tamara has done.

Robin Hood is in present-day EF?! I suspected as much when I heard that he’d also be in OUAT in WL! 🙂

And there is NEALFIRE!

And he’s going to help Baelfire find his way back to Emma. And Belle may join up with Neal and RH in NL.

I agree, might be the triton, and have been thinking Ariel is a portal jumper…and this will lead into finding Ariel, or Ariel maybe trying to take the triton back before they can use it?

Parallel to the teaser of her stealing a fork….maybe she steals it from Mulan and Neal.

–seeing the bed and crying pillow Rumple obviously hasn’t touched since he lost Belle

–if Nealfire finds his clothing in the dark castle and realizes how much his papa loves him

Hmm. Ariel’s grotto could have been some type of underwater portal? King Triton would have gotten highly upset and then destroyed it like he did in the Disney film.

 

I used to think the fisherman that Cora turned into a fish was King Triton for some reason. And that his SB curse was to be a human (the creatures he hated) and a fisherman (someone who kills his “kind”). That’d be the ultimate curse for a human-hating merman king.
