All promos are like that. They make it sound really dramatic and then you see what actually happens, big let down. Look at The Phantom Menace. Big disappointment.
Let me put this way. If you were Tamara and you were engaged to Neal, without knowing about his fairytale background and then all of the sudden, you drop this really big bomb shell, you’d be like 😕 😮 😯 😕 💡 Huh? You’d think that your fiance is crazy.

Yes, promos can be made to be deceptive, but this is the OUAT promotional department we’re talking about. They’re the same Einsteins who developed the promo for 2×5 “The Doctor” which all but confirmed and spoiled that Dr. Whale’s fairytale counterpart as Dr. Frankenstein.

Yes, if Tamara were just a typical girl from NYC without any knowledge of magic, I’d agree with you 100%, but the spoilers indicate she has an agenda and then the promo all but tells us it’s to steal SB’s magic and the only one who can stop her is August. Oh, and there’s a clip of Greg in the US promo and then it cuts right to Tamara, so I think it’s a pretty good hint she’s also Greg’s HER.

March 19, 2013 at 10:35 pm #181017RumplesGirlKeymasterWhat Slurpeez said. Spoilers outside of the promo also indicate that she has an agenda, and the promo shows that she probably knows magic as you see her in the woods, presumably with August, who is currently a giant wooden man.

I’m withhdolding judgement for now! What does that even mean?
I was hoping Tamara would be a normal real world person so we could get some comic reactions here and there in the show to the whole idea of fairytale characters. Kurt/Emma/Owen–it all changed too quickly and got too serious and scary by the time they knew there was magic and fairytale characters (if Kurt and Owen even knew that).Anyway, I can’t tell much from those pictures. But I doubt all the writers have planned for Tamara is just a convenient reason for Neal to ride off into the sunset and out of the lives of Emma, Henry and Rumpel.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
March 19, 2013 at 11:44 pm #181030eastofthesunParticipantI’m very intrigued by the pictures…Cannot wait till Sunday…even though my Swanfire Shipper heart dies a little inside because of Tamara!! I’m not going to judge Tamara; she seems interesting, she could be good/or evil…The promo made her seem Evil..but sometimes the promos can be misleading…I hope we get some answers Sunday….I really never thought they would show Tamara the book this early!! I get nervous about this!! Could start something crazy…This Emma/Bae/Henry/Tamara meeting is going to be SO awkward!! 😆

It really must be the most awkward thing for Henry and Emma to sit through a meal with Tamara. Henry is giving Tamara the evil eye and thinking about how she is just a wrench in his dream of wedded bliss for his parents, Emma and Neal. Additionally, I think Emma can usually tell when someone is lying, and I think she has a bad vide about Tamara. Tamara just can’t be trusted. By Emma’s expression, you can tell she doesn’t trust Tamara either.
You just know Emma’s thinking, “Who’s does this Tamara think she is? No way is she going to marry Neal and be step-mom to Henry! Keep smiling.”Plus, Tamara just looks sneaky with her shifty eyes! Here’s a GIF of her from the US promo, and she’s being really suspicious.
Look at the BTS photo; I think Tamara’s totally spying on Neal and August’s private conversation.
That woman is up to no good. I really hope she’s a vindictive fairy who wants to avenge the death of Cinderella’s fairy godmother, whom Rumple killed in 1×4. That'd help to explain why Rumple is so against Baelfire's upcoming marriage to Tamara, and partially why he argues with Bae in 2×20.slurpeez108 I can totally see that happening

In the photo, the containers on the table are labelled with what looks like “tamara bagels”, someone pointed it out on a blog 😛
