Ooooh. Does that work time line wise? Let’s see. Robin and Marian encounter Belle and Rumple right at the beginning of their relationship, so right after Skin Deep. From the end of Skin Deep to the casting of the Curse it was about 4 years. They would have needed to send Tamara (and her grandmother?) to our world before the curse hit. So add 28(ish) and 4 and that would make Tamara about 31-32? Yeah, that would work.
That would be her background and if Rumple does kill Robin (which I don’t think he does because Belle will stop him…I think the Sheriff of Nottingham will) and Tamara knows this then she could be wanting magic to go against Rumple?

It would make more sense if the are Tamara’s grand parents since she was extremely close to her grandmother as show. By her picture.

I don’t know if that works timeline wise since Rumple meets the young Robin and Marian about 4 years before the Curse is cast. For them to be her grandparents, he would have to meet them around the time he met Cora so make the grandmother the age is she now from the picture.

Well I guess if Marian is killed by rumple then her mother raises Tamara then that could make sense. The only question with that is how did they end up in this world?
It’s interesting that they’ve cast a black Marian when Marian is normally depicted as white. The actress playing Marian also looks a little bit like Tamara’s actress. Also, in Tamara’s casting call, why were they so specific about Tamara being black? I know there’s the theory of Cinderella’s fairy godmother being Tamara’s mother going around so that could be the reason for the specificity.
I wonder what the magic is that Robin steals from Rumple. It’s obviously not magic in its pure form but must be contained in something. What if Robin, Marian and her mother are being persecuted by the sheriff so they plan to use magic to escape to a different land.
Maybe the sheriff is a racist jerk?

Well the Severe Nurse has an appearance this episode too. Perhaps we’ll finally learn her FTL identity, and that could be it.
Oh, I definitely have thought for a while that Tamara was linked to Robin Hood, since both characters want to steal magic. I think Robin might have been stealing straw spun into gold, which could then be given to the poor. I’m not sure why Tamara needs magic, but there is that obvious parallel in their stories. I supposed she could be affiliated as a Merry Woman, or perhaps she is Robin’s and Marain’s daughter.

Ingrid Torrance plays the severe nurse (aka Nurse Ratched) in SB, not the EF. She’s white, so she can’t be Tamara’s grandmother, who looks African American in the photo she had. I don’t think the severe nurse is connected to Marian in the EF. I think she’s the one who runs the psyche ward and drugs Belle/Lacey in SB.

The fact that they are introducing Robin and Marian so late in the season, but right after we learned that Tamara is up to no good would indicate the two stories are connected. I am fully on board the “daughter of Robin and Marian” train. *until someone pokes enough holes in it* 😆

Oh I didn’t mean that the Nurse would be Tamara’s Grandmother, but simply Marian’s nurse. Also, sometimes the press release doesn’t reveal a FTL name. The press release for “The Doctor” for example simply listed David Anders as “Doctor Whale”, and made no mention of Victor Frankenstein.
