Genie Will: What Now???

Tonight in the winter finale, Will became a Genie after he wishes to end Alice’s suffering and it freed Cyrus!

Now’s he’s trapped in the bottle and floating out to sea.

Where will Will end up? How will they free him? Can the RQ save him with love?

Current headcanon

–Somehow the bottle found its way to the EF at the exact moment the JR went through the portal to SB back in ONCE’s 209, Queen of Hearts

–Alice and Cyrus and the RQ and the Bunny are going to SB (but our characters are too distracted by Cora and Hook to do anything about them)

That was a great way to end the ep, going into the mid-season break. The long wait to find out where he ends up is gonna kill me, but it was a cool ending.

Water connects worlds, so I reckon he could end up just about anywhere. Maybe a curious mermaid who collects random treasures will find him. 😉 (I know we haven’t heard anything to even remotely suggest that Ariel’s gonna be a crossover character, I’m just saying, it’d be fun.)

Well Eric did say he planned to travel to Agrabah, so maybe we could at least see Eric in a flashback.

According the the Doctor in 101, yes. They met up with Mermaids at some point.

Have we ever a waterfall like that before? In the EF? In WL? Anywhere?

One interesting thing is that Will doesn’t have his heart. So I’d bet anything that this comes into play with Genie Will.

Genie Will was an interesting twist, though I’m not sure I’m in favor to it. It seems like the second part of S1 will be mission to find Will just as the first par of S1 was a mission to save Cyrus. As for where he ends up, I’m thinking he’ll be in SB.

Do you think they can use his heart as a locator spell?

Jafar used the RQ’s hair from her brush to locate her. So finding Will is in two steps: find his heart which will lead the team to Will himself!

I like the Idea of Genie Will….He’s would be more like the Genie in the original Aladdin then Cyrus was. Because Will knows all the modern day pop culture and is the comic relief.
